Review summary

Overall it was a great trip, the scenery there is breath taking, would love to go again there is really nothing bad to say about an Alaskan cruise you make it as fun as you want

Embarkation

5 out of 5
Check in went smoothly, very easy process to get cards to board ship

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
Main dining room was great, some things on the menu stayed the same but there were some changes to it every night, all of the waiters were fantastic. The buffet food in the windjammer was excellent, different styles of food were there from the simple hot dog and hamburgers to Indian and Chinese

Onboard Activities

4 out of 5
Did not partake in a lot of the activities

Entertainment

5 out of 5
Shows were excellent, the skating show was good

Children's Programs

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Excellent service on all ends, storeroom attendant made sure if any issues they were taken care of right away

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
Everything on board was clean, being on third deck, always had to go up a deck to get to rear of ship

Cabin / Stateroom

4 out of 5
The cabin was as you say cozy, have to say that it was clean but the bed was just a bit too hard for my taste

Ship tip

Get storeroom above deck 3, you always have to go up a deck to get to rear of ship

Ports of call

Seattle, Washington Did not visit port

Juneau, Alaska

5 out of 5
The city is very nice, did the mendenhall glacier and salmon bake, wish had more time at glacier only give you an hour, was not impressed at salmon bake, the salmon was good but the sauce on it was way sweet and kind of masked the salmon

Skagway, Alaska

5 out of 5
Loved the town but because the excursion took too long, never had time to explore the town, hung out with sled dogs, because we had such a huge group with us we arrived late to the gold panning and it basically was closed down, our driver had to give us lessons on gold panning

Victoria, British Columbia

5 out of 5
No excursions here, just explored the city on our own, nice parks and mountains

Disembarkation

5 out of 5
Very easy to get through immigration and customs, bags were taken to airport for us and didn't see them til we reached our destination
