Review summary

In my opinion, this was was great cruise. I have seen dolphins, whales, the glacier, and everything else. I have always wanted to do this cruise and I feel fortunate to be ale to do with this captain and the crew. We had a great time. We are not any party animals; we enjoy just being with great people that know what they are doing, from the captain to the person who paints the boat. Would (and will) do this again.

Embarkation

5 out of 5
Embarkation was very smooth despite the number of passengers the boat can hold. All the staff were endlessly patient and courteous. I had to wonder how they can do it weekly...

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
Buffets were just fine. The food was always warm and the staff again very helpful. They kept cleaning and wiping after guests (including me) that drop a piece of bacon or eggs. The dinner restaurant was relaxing and the waiters were fantastic. I was actually sad that the last night night husband and I had a special dinner at the Chef's Table. There was only 11 guests at the table, but we got to know them all, and we all enjoyed the fine dinner and wine. That was one experience that really counted for me. Superb!

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
N/A for us but that was not the option. I rated is high because if we could do the activities, we would love it. We have not done any activities as my husband had classes plus he was just after the foot surgery. We tend to stay to ourselves most of the time. Plus we were there with a group so we have spend time together s much as possible.

Entertainment

My husband was just after a foot surgery and was recommended to limit using his foot as much as possible.

Children's Programs

Did not have children with us.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
I have said this from the very first cruise my husband and I took almost 20-years ago: all business should learn the customer service from the cruise industry. Everyone (meaning the staff) was kind, helpful, respectful and patient, which can;t be said about some guests that I have observed. I find it appalling when guest treat an employee purely because they think they can get some "freebies." Unacceptable in my book.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
The staff was working very hard to keep everything clean all the time. Yet again, nothing but full respect and admiration for all.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Can't say anything else but "excellent."

Ship tip

Respect the staff; all of it. Period.

Visited the Gardens! Breathtaking!

Disembarkation

Very smooth process. It took less then 20 minutes since we left the waiting area, picked up our luggage and were sitting in the cab to the airport. Again, how do they do that?
