Review summary

Special needs (wheelchair) not attended to for boarding/disembark.

Very poor customer service....unless you were an elite traveler ( ie Pinnacle/

Diamond).

Waitstaff/servers were much better than the general crew members.

We did not see the Captain the entire cruise...and we did attend our dinner

seating all nights!

Our cabin was not correct and had to be modified into twin beds.

In general, the majority of staff were not knowledgeable and/or rude.

Guests at our table highly suggested booking the Princess Line next.

Ship tip

Only real plus was the 8:00 pm seating for dining. Kumar was excellent. Chef Monty also!

Royal Caribbean has always had wonderful customer service. You probably weren't aware of the captains corner held on every RC ship in which the captain introduces the senior members of his staff and takes questions from the passengers. All are invited. I am truly sorry for your experience. I would hate to be on a ship I was no comfortable on. Don't give up on cruising . Princess may be more to you

But if a generalisation thinking only elite travellers were treated well. This comment makes me think it wasn't the staff with the problem.

Wow- were you on the same cruise as us? Sept 9 to Alaska? Everyone on that ship was nothing but extraordinarily nice. Our trip was awesome. Not elite travellers either. I couldn't find one thing to complain about. General crew members and especially the security people were awesome. No matter what happens when travelling- it's always work to get there- we go with a positive attitude and get over the glitches quickly.I was seasick for a day and a half but chose to keep going. My first time for that.
