Review summary
We truly enjoyed this cruise. The weather was great - no rain, and all the tours were excellent. The only drawback was that Holland America used to have a midnight "chocolate extravaganza," which was always one of the mini highlights of the cruise. It was done at midnight in the buffet with all kinds of different chocolates and fruit carvings. It truly was art in the form of chocolate. Unfortunately, this has been stopped and replaced with a walk thru on one deck by waiters carrying trays of chocolate tipped marshmallows, brownies, and cookies. It was very crowded and somewhat disappointing from what we had expected and briefed our family members on. I do not know why it was discontinued as it was always very popular on the previous cruises we had taken on Holland America.Embarkation
