Relaxing by LuvVaca30996959

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Enchantment of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Bahamas

My husband and I had a relaxing time on the ship. FYI: Incase any families are going on this ship with children that love to play basketball...don't because there is not a basketball court on the ship. The ship does have rock climbing and other activities but if anyone has children like we do, having a bb court is crucial. Overall for my husband and I we had a great time.

After cruising on several other lines, we decided to try Royal Caribbean and was pleasantly surprised. Crew was friendly, food was great, and we had a great overall pleasant experience.

Our First cruise ... Def. not the last by dctileman

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Enchantment of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Bahamas

My wife and I finally took our first cruise after 26 years of being married. I wasn't excited about being "stuck" on a ship with a lot of people. I couldn't have been more wrong. That was the most relaxing time I have ever had. From the beautiful view to the amazing room to the helpful and kind staff, this was a perfect trip. The only negative thing was that I booked us on a short cruise ( only 3 nights ). Saving up so we can go again. This time with my children 21-25 in age. Just have to share the experience.

Need a break!!! by Celestine

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Enchantment of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Bahamas

Fabulous, Me and my wife had not been on a vacation or cruise in (8) years, since rising my son and daughters. The only thing missing was the basketball court we had on the last one, although the pools, spas, and gym were accommodating for this brief vacation. Most personnel were friendly accept at the photo shop and the Benn and Jerry Ice Cream Store where personnel was not as polite as others. Notwithstanding we had a great short trip.

Pure Excellence! by RTrumper1

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple

The crew indicated that their goal was for guests to be able mark every category of our cruise as Excellent. They all worked very hard to make that happen, and it worked! We WILL do this again.

Our Cruise on Enchantment of the Sea by clj

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (older children)
Ship: Enchantment of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Bahamas

We thoroughly enjoyed this cruise. Our favorite part of the day was when we went to the dining room and had our wonderful waitstaff make a fuss over us. Malfina and Rafael treated us like we were their favorite people. We hated to leave them behind. The shows were really good and the other entertainment was very well done. The cruise director was on the ball. We really liked the belly-flop competition. All in all we had a great time and hope to be able to go again someday.

nice family experience by dmeares

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (young children)

We wee very happy with our cruise and or family time. Though we had purchased the premium alcohol package we found if we did not ask for premium liquor it was not served. also had some difficulties with some bartenders arguing or making it difficult to get a premium drink. SPoke with Cruise ship beverage manager at end of cruise and he compensated my husband and I a hundred dollars each, that we appreciated. felt that it was a gimick and if we did'nt monitor the drinks we would have never received the premium drinks.

it depends on the person if you'll like it by SariahShep

This was our first time sailing so I had nothing else to compare it to. The Pros: the service was outstanding. The food was good. Plenty of swimming possibilities. The Cons: The ship was too small for me and did not have choices (other than the pools and bars). But if your the type of person that has a bad back or bad knees, this smaller ship would be better. Next time we're going on a bigger cruise that offers more.

Nice Cruise for the Money by Luv2cruzz

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (young children)
Ship: Enchantment of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Bahamas

This was my husband and my 4th cruise. However, it was our kids first. They had a good time and enjoyed their first experience. We were a little disappointed in the amount of activities to do, for the day at sea, but over all a good deal for the amount of money we paid. The food and service on board was great.

Fantastic family vacation by MamaJulians50th

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (young children)
Ship: Enchantment of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Bahamas

We used this trip as a family reunion of sorts....There was plenty for everyone to do. The food was great, the staff was absolutely wonderful. Our dinner staff, as well as the head waiter took so much care with my grand kids. It was a vacation that we won't forget very soon. We are already looking for our next cruise.

Had a Blast by tranhosky

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (older children)
Ship: Enchantment of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Bahamas

I took my family on this cruise and we had a great time. The staff was wonderful and food well what can I say "we miss it already". We missed all the shows due to our dinner time but it wasn't a big deal. Coco Cay was a nice place. I do hate they charge you to do anything other than eat. The picture staff at time was rude but I guess if I worked as many hours as they do I would be snappy at times also.

We had a very nice experience! by havinfun

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (older children)
Ship: Enchantment of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Bahamas

We had our daughter and grandson with us on this cruise and this was their first cruise experience. It was a very good experience for them. For my husband and myself, we were not as impressed with the ship and the itinerary. There was nothing terrible but a different experience than we have experienced on longer cruises. This was obviously a weekend party and they did a fine job of that. There was a nice variety of food and quality was adequate. Service in the dining room and cabin was excellent, as well as friendliness. Cleanliness was great. I would recommend RCCL.

The ship was wonderful and the crew was outstanding!!! My family will definitely book this cruise again. This was our first 3 day cruise, and loved it. The stops were Nassau and Coco Cay. We did not get off at Coco Cay preferred relaxing on the ship.

Cruise with the Girls by Girlshavefun

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Enchantment of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Bahamas

The unloading process was not good. You went out one door and then back in another door same floor and crossed over the ship and out on the deck before exiting the ship. The dining room meals need to have better selections. The fish was dry. The rooms were excellent. We could not hear the captains announcements in our room though. I will be back in August 2013. See you then.

Excrement of the sea perhaps by tammysbrown

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Enchantment of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Bahamas

Brown,Tammy Country of Residence: USA This was our 12th cruise and probably our last with Royal Caribbean. We took our daughter and her boyfriend on their first cruise hoping it would be an excellent experience for them and us. We bought 2 cabins and with the parking at the pier, incidentals and beverage purchases, we spent about 3,000 for 3 days of being treated rudely like cattle by a disinterested overwhelmed staff in an overcrowded ship full of rude people with no respect for personal space or using inside voices. the ship was booked beyond capacity so we really got to have the "cattle experience" there was no peace anywhere, even in the "adult only"solarium pool the foreigners were letting their screaming children run amuck while their parents sat in large groups and spoke non-stop very loudly. The food on the ship was the worst that we have had on any ship. The staterooms were in very bad need of refurbishing, and remodeling. Our mirror had big spots all over it where the backing was worn away, the trim in the cabin was scuffed and scraped. The entire ship looked old, tired, boring, and dull! Not anything that I expected from Royal Caribbean! I would have expected that from a 129.00 per person cruise on a bottom deck, inside cabin from some small lical unknown cruise line. I am so upset that I wasted our family vacation money on that cruise. We could have had a really nice time down in the Keys or in Jamaica for the same amount of money. I am shocked at how far the quality and value of Royal Caribbean cruises has fallen since the last time we cruised, which was only 5 years ago and we have cruised with them at least 8 other times. This was the worst cruise ever. Never again!
