Great cruise by ranran531

Sail date: / Traveled as: Singles/Friends
Ship: Enchantment of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Bahamas

The crew members are great and everyone was very pleasant. Any activities to do a board. I really enjoy being at the Port of calls for an extended amount of time as it gives plenty of time for you to enjoy the area's. Coco cay was amazing we had the most amazing weather and best of all we felt like we were still on the cruise as all the crew members were on the island working and Not only was food included but our drink package was also available at the island. Loved this cruise.

Would have liked a health food restaurant in the Sodium similar to the one longer the Oasis.  This was our second cruise on this ship the first was when it was new.  I'm the future. I think I will stick with the Oasis settle ships.  The. Food and dining room service was excellent although it was better the first couple of days.

Awesome Cruise by cutillascarmen

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (older children)
Ship: Enchantment of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Bahamas

We had a great time on this cruise.  The person that took care of our room, was always smiling and super friendly.  He would remind us daily what we needed to bring along on our excursions.

The sit down dinners were such a wonderful experience.  The best part was Jesse (our main waiter) and his assistant Mylene.  They treated all of us beyond what they should have.

We we have been on cruises before, but this one will go down as unforgettable.  Thank you Royal Caribbean for a fantastic three days!  We look forward to other cruises with your company.

Best regards,

The Ngo Family

3 Day RC - Enchantment of the Seas Caribbean Cruise by tarakruse

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (older children)
Ship: Enchantment of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Bahamas

Favorite part was stops at the Ports - and doing excursions - Loved visiting Atlantis without having to actually stay at Atlantis.  3 Days was too short - would recommend - but should be minimum of 4 days in my opinion.

The private Island Coco Cay lots of sunshine and fun things to do! Over Packed you really don't need all those outfits! The dining at Dinner most people wore very casual except for the Captain's Dinner.

Great Time on Cruise by danielsonmaria

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (older children)
Ship: Enchantment of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Bahamas

Had a great time on our 4-day cruise to the Bahamas.  It was our first time arranging a cruise.  We did not do a good job with the flights because we did not know to coordinate with travel agency to purchase flights..  Next time, we will buy airline tickets through the same company we bought the cruise.  The weather in Miami was rainy and flights were delayed 2 hrs.  If it weren't for delays, we would not have made our flights home.

Summary of cruise on Enchanment of the seas by lalalidia

Sail date: / Traveled as: Large Group
Ship: Enchantment of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Bahamas

This was my first cruise.  I had a great time !! The shows were great. LOVED the featured comedian. The entire staff on board was A+ all the way. Everyone was very friendly and was ready with any needs we may have. The food was excellent. My biggest concern about cruising was the fear of being trapped on a ship in the middle of the ocean.  Not once did I feel that way. I enjoyed all the activities that were happening all around the clock.  I have to give much credit to our wait staff at dinne Jessie and Mylene.  Also our house keeping Dindo.  We were really lucky.  These three individuals had to have been my favorite crew members aboard the ship.

Our rooms were spacious and clean but I feel a little outdated.  The sliding door to go out to our deck was hard to open and close and through the night our neighbors opening and closing their sliding deck door was noisy and was loud enough to wake us up.  The only crew member that was a little off putting I met on the very first day of embarkment. We were touring the spa, my sister in law and I considering setting up appointments for our mothers.  We met one of the nutritionist (?).  I forget his name but young blond South African fellow.  He was a little too pushy.  We were all into what he was selling when he kept pushing us to sign up even after we said we had to check the schedule of our travel mates.  He walked us to a phone expecting us to call them THAT instance and said a few times let's not waste his time.  Needless to say we never booked an appointment with him nor did we ever book this appointments at the spa.   Either then this incident.  I really enjoyed my time aboard the Enchantment and have most definitely caught the "cruising bug"

Ship needs major refurbishment by dmec1978481940

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Enchantment of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Bahamas

I've cruised RCCL many times but this was the worst ship by far. The cabins are extremely run down. Carpets faded, Mirrors peeling, toilet seats rotting, beds were the worst...hard and lumpy. The bartender to guest ratio was terrible as well. Had to wait an average of 25 minutes to get a drink. Now they have also imposed a $7.95 service fee for room service which has been traditionally no charge since the beginning of time. In the Chops restaurant which you pay an additional $35 per person to dine, they now impose upcharges to the up charge for certain menu choices that are nothing spectacular causing the service charge to go from $35 pp to $70 pp. For that price I could dine anywhere. You used to also be able to order more than 1 entree but this time they told us there would be an addtl $10 charge which is mentioned nowhere on the menu. Really??? We had the manager take it off our bill after complaining. I always hear how the cruise lines are sqeezing the guests for addtl money but never experienced it before, until this cruise!

Puts a sour taste in your mouth about the entire vacation.

Excellent cruise.  The food was very good.  Enjoyed every minute in the cruise.

Our two attendants Eleonora and Maylin from Philippine at the main restaurant for dinner were excellent.

The staff was amazing on the ship!!! We enjoyed the dinning and the entertainment. The city tour in Nassau was great, Bahamas. Absolutely loved Coco Cay, Bahamas. We also enjoyed kayaking at Lazy Dog Adventures in Key West, Florida.

Excursions by hawkinsgwen

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (older children)
Ship: Enchantment of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Bahamas

I would have to say my favorite part of the cruise was the different excusions. The entertainment on the cruise was very boring. It seemed like the selection  only catered to an older audience.  The meals were very blend in taste besides the breakfast.

Old boat by chin6

Sail date: / Traveled as: Large Group
Ship: Enchantment of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Bahamas

This boat is very old with not much to do . Everything is latin, and there isn't much of a variety of Of music.  But, the staff is awesome . The food is OKAY, but if you go with the right set of friends/family... you'll have a great time.

Perfect weekend getaway... by cosmpolitanista

Sail date: / Traveled as: Singles/Friends
Ship: Enchantment of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Bahamas

I was hesitant about going on a 3 night cruise since I am an avid cruiser and like at least 5 night cruises... but my friend and I decided that we really wanted a weekend getaway and this cruise seemed like a good idea.

Pros: I was very pleased with the activities onboard. I thought that because it was a shorter cruise, we would be missing out on all the fun stuff - but they still had the bellyflop, sexiest man, late night comedian show, musical/ dance show, 70's party, Quest, and all of the game shows a 7 night cruise had! The cruise staff was very friendly and the food onboard was surprisingly good. (Windjammer was actually better than the main dining room! Evelyn/ Ruel in the main dining room are the best waiters I've had on any ship!!) My favorite thing about the cruise was the excursion at CocoCay - we rented the beach bungalows and it was totally worth it.

Cons: The barstaff did not seem like they wanted to be there... and a little boy was drowning and none of the pool staff seemed to be around. When we finally dove in and saved the boy, the pool guy came and said "oh yeah thanks." That was pretty scary. The cruise is also very old so you can see rust in a lot of places - especially if you have a balcony. And the last con would be that a lot of people were seated incorrectly (wrong tables, wrong times, etc) during the dinner hours in the main dining room - that and the wait was EXTREMELY long. We had a 9pm seating one day and they didn't seat us until 9:40. Even though these things happened, the cruise was still a perfect getaway and worth going on!

Royal Caribbean Cruise by 3Days

Sail date: / Traveled as: Singles/Friends
Ship: Enchantment of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Bahamas

Had a 3 days cruise, picked through AA.Com Website. Check in process was great.  Had booked a junior suite, was dingy, smell from the couch, large dirty stains on the couch and foot rests. Smelly old rug. The decor of the suite and the ship was of 90's era. Price payed for the room could not be justified. First night had dinner at the My Fair Lady dinning hall, seated promptly, ordered Steak, took 35 minutes to get it, was Luke warm with just boiled Broccoli and Carrots and bland mash potatoes, it was no steak meat but just a piece of beef, could not finish and then ate at Windjammer buffet. Next night had dinner at Chops Grille Restaurant, had decent decor and great service, food was lot better there. Next day had Chef's Table dinner with 6 other guests, must say was a great multiple course meal. All three dinner I paid were not included in the cruise price. On general food quality was average at buffet. In entertainment Comedy shows were good. Overall experience average , would not recommend Enchantment Of The Seas to any friend or family. Despite its refurbishing still an old ship.

i would do it again by carolthern

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Enchantment of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Bahamas

I loved this cruise it was fantastic.  It was just the right length for those of us that get homesick.  The itinerary was perfect.  The ship size was just the right, not to big and not too small.  The food was excellent in the dining room.  I loved the poolside theater .
