Great Time by ThiesFamily

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Enchantment of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Bahamas

The pools were a little too crowded, but the scenery from the boat and the live entertainment was great. Even though my wife got very seasick, we still ended up being quite satisfied with our cruise experience.

Excellent relaxing getaway by JGCruiser440704

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Enchantment of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Bahamas

This was a great getaway before the holiday rush. The cruise director had great energy and was always available. The entertainment was fun and plentiful. This is a nice size ship, easy to get around without walking a mile.

Long awaited adventure begins by abunny4u

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Enchantment of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Bahamas

Although the level of service was behind compare there were several issues that need to be addressed for further consideration. My Husband is a diabetic and requires a refrigerator to store and keep his medication. We understand that the process of receiving that request to the time it takes to actually deliver could be lengthy but the wait and the anticipation and worrying that perhaps we would not be able to keep his insulin was stressful to say the least. It was delivered finally and for that we are thankful. Moving on to our main dining room arrangements of hoping to change the 8:30 PM seating to an earlier one proved to be a bit of a challenge. We were told to return to the dining room at approx. 6:20 - 6:30 and while the effort was made to accommodate our needs we were not seated until well after 7:15 with guests who were well into their dessert portion of their meal. This being our first ever experience of main room dining as well as our first cruise in over 25 years it left us wondering if we had made the right decision as one by one all the other guests left the dining room we were left alone to wait on our dessert and watch as the staff cleaned and prepped for the next seating. Feeling rather self conscious we left the area so as the staff can finally clear where we had been. Your complimentary beverage stations were without product more than they were stocked. On multiple trips we were left with nothing more than colored water instead of fruit punch nor lemonade or ice tea & coffee also proved to be a challenge as well. We were so excited over the soft serve ice cream machines but once again disappointed as more times than we can count the machines were out of service. We were thrilled on the first day when we discovered that strawberry & vanilla was featured but that was the first and only time we were able to get it. One machine went down on the second day and never but back online again. We stationed ourselves in comfortable seating watching the people traffic approach the ice cream station only to walk away disappointed much like ourselves. There were attendants who tried to fix & maintain the demand but really that is one area that should have a full-time attendant or at least someone to make them for us on a time schedule system. From this experience we have learned what we need in future cruises to satisfy our comfort & level of overall expedition. Yes, the ship is worn around the edges, but from the bigger picture put out there it left us content and refreshed as a wonderful escape from our day to day working lifestyle that everyone should experience! From the moment we stepped unto the Enchantment of the Seas to the time we disembarked ~ like a fish on the end of the line ~ we were hooked!

A few fixes and it would have been amazing! by DNK

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Enchantment of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Bahamas

Out of 5 hot tubs, they were always packed with kids. It would be nice to have 2-3 that are adult only. We ordered a deluxe cabana for CocoCay the day that we boarded. The advertised price was $309, but we were charged $359. The main attendant was rude when we checked into our cabana. For the price we paid, at least a smile would have been nice. Also, only charging the advertised price that I provided proof of would have been nice, especially considering it wasn't quite how it was advertised. Dining with Blue was great!

Best Valued Cruise by fpark63

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Enchantment of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Bahamas

I have taken this cruise several times before. I have never been disappointed and always enjoyed the cruise. Recent cruise was by far the best. Valve and the service was impressive. I will most likely do this cruise again.

Mediocre trip by jsuare10

Sail date: / Traveled as: Large Group
Ship: Enchantment of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Bahamas

Lots of sea sickness both in my large group as well as with the cruise staff. Majority of my group developed stomach issues from the food, Nassau port not the best ever although Cococay made up for it.

"Enchanting" Thanksgiving Cruise by lmanager834

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (young children)
Ship: Enchantment of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Bahamas

This was my first experience aboard this ship but not my first RC cruise. However; this one was well worth the time and money for a holiday getaway albeit it a short one, we were not lacking for anything that could have made this experience more impressive. A perfect trip!

Great Cruise to the Bahamas by EScott1700

Sail date: / Traveled as: Singles/Friends
Ship: Enchantment of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Bahamas

My brother and I had a great time! Since we had been to CocoCay before, we took that opportunity to take advantage of the spa specials and the peaceful atmosphere on the boat. the staff is very friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. I will definitely be on Royal Caribbean again. They have something for everyone!

Very underwhelming by kyledanderson05

Sail date: / Traveled as: Singles/Friends
Ship: Enchantment of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Bahamas

Frist time on Royal Caribbean been on many other cruise lines I was expecting to be blown away the food was just okay the main dinning room severed the same thing each night so took in the buffet instead, the beds in the room we're very very hard, didnt seem asto be as many things to do as there were on other ships, walked through the ship saw many things that needed to be fixed or even replaced, walking the desk I saw a lot of rust on decks, windows, doors, and even on the life boats. Needless to say I think it's time to get this ship in dry dock or just retire it all together. Side note the staff was great and the shows were very good.

Quick getaway to escape the hustle of your work week by slugger224

Sail date: / Traveled as: Singles/Friends
Ship: Enchantment of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Bahamas

This was a quick getaway that I have taken several times before. For the price, its the same as having a fun weekend out of town, except you wake up in the Bahamas!

Fun cruise by funebone

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (young children)
Ship: Enchantment of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Bahamas

Overall, the cruise was lots of fun! We have two small kids, ages 5 and 8 and they absolutely loved the childcare center. We will definitely cruise again, but likely not on this ship due to the fact that it’s older and lobster is no longer offered for free.

Too much down time, not enough activities. by Luv2crooze

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Enchantment of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Bahamas

Not enough to do on the ship. Several activities were going on during second seating dining. Spotlight lounge was used I think once for an activity. Also Diamond Lounge was too small for the amount of Diamond members. The hors d'oeuvres and bar area was awkward and cramped. Viking Lounge or Spotlight lounge should have been used for Diamond members.
