Cruise to remember! by mae2020

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (young children)
Ship: Enchantment of the Seas

Would take another cruise on this cruise ship. Loved every minute of it. Sleep had a young child and the staff was really great with her and helped feed her while we were having dinner or walked her around so I could enjoy dinner. Everyone I met from the staff was amazing.

We just got off the... by tmoore4477

Sail date: /
Ship: Enchantment of the Seas

We just got off the ship. We knew when booking it was an older ship so nothing surprised me as far as it’s condition. It was extremely clean. We had great service from the moment we walked on. We loved our waiters Ajay and Earvin. The food was good. Wind jammer was a little crowded in the mornings but still no more than any other cruise we have been on. We loved our pool waiter Marcell. He went above and beyond to make sure we were taken well care of. Desmond at the Schooner Bar was good. Our room Steward Thandi was great. I will say the room seemed smaller so we will do 2 rooms next time since we have a teenager and 10 year old. The only disappointment was that we had to cancel our Cococay stop due to high winds and rough seas. Ready to cruise again as soon as we can.

Since this cruise was only... by Ship4brains

Sail date: /
Ship: Enchantment of the Seas

Since this cruise was only four days, and it was on an older, smaller ship, then our stop to Coco Cay was canceled due to high swells, this cruise was not memorable except for the outstanding service from Honesto in the My Fair Lady main dining room and RoseAngela our room attendant.

Short Getaway by new3318

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Enchantment of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Bahamas

This cruise was a casino cruise for us. We had an inside cabin but did not spend much time there when awake. All the crew that we interacted with was top notch. Small ship and easy to get around.

Ship: Enchantment of the Seas

A weekend getaway for my wife and I. Not really a fan of the ship but we did have a good time, mainly there to relax so my expectations were not high.

Ship: Enchantment of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Bahamas

It was a horrible experience. First they canceled our Port of Call at cococay. And then we had to spend a whole week in a cabin smelling of sewer.

Just got off today and... by Lindseyrae292

Sail date: /
Ship: Enchantment of the Seas

Just got off today and already wishing we were back sitting at the boleros bar talking with the bartenders! This was our 6th Royal Caribbean cruise. Boarding was the easiest ever with there new check in! They have a new line for expedited boarding if you have your set sail printed or on the app with your passport. They scanned our stuff and gave us a slip to board with expedited and we were on right with the key people. I'm glad we didn't pay extra for the key since we still got on right away. She does need a little work, our toilet button didn't work that well. Sometimes we had to hit the button like 15-30 times for it to flush & there was a strange smell on our deck - deck 4. We also never saw our stateroom attendant which was very strange to us The layout of the casino was odd to us and it was alot smaller than other casinos even on small ships, but that of course didn't stop us from gambling and playing 😂 We only ate in the windjammer and park cafe and the food was delicious! The last night in windjammer they did a seafood night. 😍 The enertainment was awesome, loved the cruise director. The casino host went above and beyond & so did the bartenders in boleros. For anyone cruising today or in the future say hey to Marlo (I think that's how it's spelled) and the other bartenders in boleros for us. I think the other ladys name was ameila or something like that and she made us some delicious martinis! Also whoever it was that recommended the daypass in Freeport at Grand Lucayan resort. Thank you! We had such a great and relaxing time. And the drinks weren't that expensive at all. We stayed on board for Nassau since we've been so many times and relaxed on the empty ship. We went to the solarium and relaxed for most of the day. They switched to paper straws which gets soggy after a few mins, I understand the reason why but just a heads up if you're a straw person like me bring a straw!

Altogether an enjoyable cruise. For 4 of our kids it was their first cruise. Their favorite part was dinner. 🤷🏻‍♀️

My second time on this... by RowdyReverend

Sail date: /
Ship: Enchantment of the Seas

My second time on this ship in the past year. Overall, she’s a good, clean vessel. Crew was polite & helpful. Food was good (wish they would change the menu in the dining room once in a while). In the Casino, Irma will teach you how to “play like a warrior” & teach you life lessons you never knew that you needed to learn, while Nadia is the sweetest blackjack dealer you’ll ever have. Had my hair cut on day 1. Kind of apprehensive about getting that done, but didn’t have time to get one before I drove to PC & boarded the ship. BEST HAIRCUT I’VE EVER HAD. Not to mention only $25.

Great Trip by scott63547557

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (young children)
Ship: Enchantment of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Bahamas

We did this same cruise a couple years ago. We really enjoyed it so much more this time. We had a great overall time. They dining room staff was great and we did that each night. We had been seeing on tv commercials about the water park at Coco Cay. I was shocked when I learned (on the cruise) that it wasn't even close to open. False advertising and putting your employees in a tough spot to explain it.

Although this ship is old, it’s still has the RC quality. The service and food were better than other cruises I’ve been on.

This was our 11th cruise... by CreativityLost

Sail date: /
Ship: Enchantment of the Seas

This was our 11th cruise on RCCL and our first on Enchantment. It was our Diamond qualifying cruise so we are looking forward to our next cruises in Diamond status. This cruise we stayed in a suite on deck 8. We like the smaller ships like Enchantment AND the new large ships. Enchantment is somewhat worn, particularly the balconies (rust) and the older furniture in the cabins. There was a slight sewer smell in the passage way but it didn’t enter the cabins. These are the only reasons I didn’t rate it 5. The crew was excellent. Very motivated and engaged. Food was good. We ate everywhere. Our Concierge Eunice was outstanding. We are looking forward to Alaska in June on Ovation. It is the only class of ship we’ve not yet sailed.
