Review summary

First time for my wife and I to cruise by ourselves. We met a lot of friendly people. The casino was fun but still too much smoking for me. On deck 5 where there is a smoking side and non-smoking side there were a lot of people who were smoking on the no smoking side and some of the officers walked right by and said nothing.

Embarkation

4 out of 5
We never stopped moving in line to get on. Easiest we have boarded.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

4 out of 5
Main dining room menu was limited but we found the food was delicious. Windjammer was not crowded when we went there for lunch and breakfast and the food was very good.

Onboard Activities

3 out of 5
Too many kids in the pools.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
Piano player in the Schooner bar at night was great. He interacted with the people as good as any other entertainer we have seen.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Wonderful staff and the service was great.

Ship Quality

4 out of 5
Older ship but well maintained.

Cabin / Stateroom

3 out of 5
Same old shower. Curtain was small and the floor got wet. Shower head could not be adjusted.

Disembarkation

4 out of 5
Very disorganized because of hurricane Helene. I for one do not blame the crew. They did the best they could under the circumstances.
