Review summary

Really did love the magician they had he was really a good one the highlight of the entertainers for me. The ship really needs some updating though it’s been quite a while

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

4 out of 5
The lobsters were nice a few times though our table mates would have a larger entree than us which was unusual but not a real issue just an observation. Be warned though there is only 1 speciality chops

Onboard Activities

3 out of 5
Could use more stuff to do in need of a upgrade even grandeur had more to do and it’s same class

Entertainment

3 out of 5
First of all saw the magician bill cook and he was impressive liked being called amazing but he said he wanted to earn it which he did was a very good entertainer would love to see his show again was a big highlight of the cruise. Was disappointed by the lack of comedians though usally they do a 3 day one 2 from the last cruise and the last 3 days is new ones. Also could use either more activity’s or them more spread out there were times when like 3 or 4 fun things were going on and you had to choose then nuthing for an hour or 2 also needs marvel or at least superhero trivia. I did opt to do the behind the scenes tour to which you had to sign a waiver for which it sounded more dangerous than it turned out to be way really fun strangely the waiver called it a back of house tour instead of behind the scenes which it was listed as guess it’s just semantics.

Service and Staff

4 out of 5
Had no complaints was good service encountered no real issues.

Ship Quality

3 out of 5
It’s old but was pretty clean just really needs some upgrades it’s fallen behind even grandeur which I was on bout a year ago do love the central atrium older ships have

Cabin / Stateroom

4 out of 5
Was pretty standard for an interior cabin had a nice couch that was great for keeping collected souvenirs on it was kept nice and clean by our Steward dosn’t have free or even on demand movies like most ships though so didn’t watch alot of tv

Ship tip

The behind the scenes tour is great if you can manage to get a spot need to book several months ahead of time

Ports of call

Costa Maya (Mahahual), Mexico

4 out of 5
Had a great guide for the highlights and beach break lots of nice shops at the beach area not really highlights though there was only 1 stop before the beach a semi lighthouse

Belize City, Belize

3 out of 5
Didn’t get to see the actual port cause our excursion took us straight from the boat to a tiny island which we snorkeled around could of easily cut out an 45-hour from the time on the island so you could tender over to the port for shopping though

Coxen Hole, Roatan, Bay Islands, Honduras

4 out of 5
Did the monkey and sloth excursion was a great trip the highlight of the trips for my friends whom I sailed with was excellent

Cozumel, Mexico

4 out of 5
Did the Mayan ruins of San gervisimo and Mayan cacao company with a stop at the bee sanctuary the only issue is the 2 main places are far apart so you spent a while riding on the bus but it’s fine get to see a lot of the island

Tampa, Florida
