Had a great time. Met new friends. Only problem I ended up with Covid. Was negative before and on Saturday on way home started getting sick, took Covid test when I got home which was positive.
Embarkation
5 out of 5
No problem, was smooth.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
3 out of 5
Main dining room, menu could have been better, was a lot of repeats. The dinner that lobster was included was an insult. It was about 2 ounces or less. I was expecting a least 4 ounces.
Buffet was ok, but also a lot of repeats. liked it better than the Main Dining room. Would recommended bran cereal, bagels, cream cheese, fried chicken (home cooked meals). Loved the different kinds of bread.
Entertainment
3 out of 5
All good but the Stage shows were just a one man show except for band. Last 2 shows were great
Service and Staff
5 out of 5
All staff were very friendly, helpful and courteous.
Room steward, Made, was very helpful. I had a problem with bed being hard and he got an “egg crate topper” which made it better. I feel the mattresses should be replaced.
The Dining room waiters at table 129 were great.
Ship Quality
5 out of 5
Older ship, but felt it was clean and taken care.
Cabin / Stateroom
4 out of 5
Cabin was ok. It was clean. Size was fine. It would be better if you had a shower door instead of a curtain. Water at times was getting on the floor. Beds uncomfortable, mattresses need to be replaced.
Cruise ship dinner portions are notoriously small. That's a great thing if you want to try something or you want more than choice. You can get multiple of the same also. 2 ounces plus 2 ounces is 4 ounces.
