Review summary

We had a lovely time. We enjoyed the Solarium and the Solarium Park Cafe which had food available during "off" hours. Bermuda is beautiful- locals are friendly and appeared to genuinely welcome us.

Embarkation

1 out of 5
We were in line for 1-1/2 hours. This is probably due to Bermuda's recent Travel Authorization requirement. Regardless of the reason, this is far too long to have to be in line with a designated check-in time.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

4 out of 5
We had dinner in the MDR. We were not able to change from the 8 pm dining time that we were assigned (tried right after we found out that we had late seating, and again after we boarded.). Food was good- not exceptional.

Onboard Activities

3 out of 5
We didn't use any.

Entertainment

We had 8 pm dinner. We are early to bed, and early to rise people. By the time we were finished eating, we were not up for merriment.

Children's Programs

No kids with us

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Steward and dining staff were friendly, attentive, and helpful.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
Enchantment is a beautiful ship. I loved the layout, and the many opportunities to sit and relax. While the ship is clean, it would be nice if tables in dining and common areas were attended to more frequently.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
This was a typical inside cabin. There were a good number of drawers- some more shelves in the closet would have been nice. Since this was a 5-night cruise, we didn't have a lot of clothes, so it worked out fine for us.

Ship tip

Make sure to have your Bermuda Travel Authorization ready.

Embarked/debarked

Royal Naval Dockyard, West End, Bermuda

5 out of 5
Beautiful. Visitor Center is very helpful- sold tokens for ferries and buses, and gave good explanations. Since the ship arrives in afternoon, shopping time at Hamilton was very limited- ferry takes 1/2 hour, shops close at 5:30. We enjoyed time at the HogPenny Pub. (Restaurants and bars, of course, open.). The Dockyard shops feature works by local artisans. The Snorkel Beach is lovely. We visited on the second day (12:00 all aboard)

Disembarkation

Speedy!
