Review summary

LOVE this ship! One more cruise on her coming up! She may be small but she's mighty!

Embarkation

1 out of 5
Horribly long lines! But, it was due to so many people NOT doing what they knew was required: Bermuda Travel Authorization and Covid test. The Embarkation Staff is not Royal Caribbean! They did a great job trying to handle the cruisers who thought they were too important to do the requirements; they had all gotten emails about them but decided to not do them. Embarkation staff helped us so much and tried to move us along. Our check in time was 12:30, we arrived 12:25 but it was 2:50 when we boarded.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
Excellent everywhere! Wait staff will help you choose items if you ask.

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
Just sun tanning on deck above pool; great place to relax

Entertainment

3 out of 5
Just saw the magician who was a bit of a disappointment.

Children's Programs

No children with us

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Every staff member was excellent. Kind, friendly, professional! The Veterans Recognition by the Executive Chef was the sweetest we've ever seen. Had me crying! Don't miss it!

Ship Quality

4 out of 5
Easy ship to navigate. Clean ship with some wear & tear

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Couldn't get handicapped Junior Suite so booked handicapped Balcony. Pleasant surprise that is was very roomy with lots of storage. Mobility scooter fit in nicely. Futon/sofa was wonderful as husband needed tobe prone a lot during the day.

Ship tip

Get to know all the areas of this ship. She has some places that are kind of hidden treasures.

Ports of call

Baltimore, Maryland Did not visit port

We live here

Royal Naval Dockyard, West End, Bermuda

5 out of 5
We only got off a bit on Day 2 and stayed in the Dockyard. Shopped a bit; be aware that prices are shy high! The Bermuda Fudge Company is totally worth the price!

Disembarkation

5 out of 5
Fast as usual!

Traveler Photos

Many beautiful sunrises & sunsets on this cruise Lifeboat practice with five lifeboats. Looks like this one just had a baby LOL My Vietnam Vet was enthralled with the cannons Rolling back to the ship after a short visit to the Dockyard Veterans Recognition by the chef on the Centrum. Don't miss it even if you aren't a vet

You were spot on concerning Embarkation which is usually very quick and smooth. Many people simply did not comply with the Bermuda requirements which I didn't agree with but still did as I was instructed.

We went on her 3 different times. Fun little ship!

We enjoyed the Enchantment too back in March. The entertainment was lacking, we had a great show one night Olympic Gold Medalist Lance Ringnald that was fun, educational and just enjoyable. However, the Grandeur was just a better ship, it maybe that things were just more put together before the pandemic but the entertainment was better and there was just more to do on her.

We were on the Enchantment April 2-14. We enjoyed it but miss the Grandeur. Staff and food were great!
