Despite being Royal Carribean's smallest ship size, this was an amazing experience for us to do a first time cruise. With no prior experience to compare to, we enjoyed every aspect of our vacation.
Embarkation
5 out of 5
Staff at the port was kind and helpful
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
5 out of 5
Our food experience was phenomenal. Food accommodations went out of their way to make every experience enjoyable.
Onboard Activities
4 out of 5
Activities were fun and engaging. The personnel running the events were amazing and would get 5 stars on their own. However, the equipment and the events themselves were often silly and came across as "making due with what we have"
Entertainment
5 out of 5
Entertainment was phenomenal. We actively sought out the music performances.
Children's Programs
Did not bring kids
Service and Staff
5 out of 5
Ship personnel made sure to get to know us and cater their service to our needs.
Ship Quality
5 out of 5
Entire ship was clean and well-maintained
Cabin / Stateroom
4 out of 5
The ship's pillows were not what I would expect from a vacation cruise. There was a faint smell when we initially embarked but I think we got used to it as the cruise went on because it became a non-factor.
Ship tip
If departing in winter months, still bring warming layers. Going towards the equator did not do enough do keep us from being cold for a majority of our trip (minus nassau)
Baltimore was a good departure port. Packaged deals in Baltimore for the day-of-departure would have been nice because we were not sure what to do with our day of departure
We went to universal studios. It was minorly upsetting that we only get essentially half a day but had to pay full price to get into universal. Recommend cruise line looks into packaging with universal or disney for half-day passes
The smaller ships are the Best ships! They are nice and personal. Crew are always fantastic and go the extra mile. We can't wait to go on the Enchantment of the seas in December. We have cruised on the Granduer of the seas (Enchantments sister) several times & it was Awesome!!!
Glad you enjoyed it. Cruising from anywhere in the US in late January will usually be cool. Nassau can also be cool at times and is over 1,700 miles North of the equator, so closer to most of Canada than the equator.
Enchantment of the Seas was our second cruise. That was quite a while ago in 2009. I know they've had refurbishments since then, but we loved it. Would definitely go again. Glad you had a good time.
That’s what my wife and I do.We love music and on a normal cruise there are 3 to 6 musical acts all around the ship. You need to find them. Glad your cruise was good. Nothing like it.
