Review summary

Had a really great time but everything was expensive on the ship so bring plenty of money! No cash accepted anywhere onboard! Cozumel has the best shopping and go to the shopping seminar held we won prizes and learned where to shop for what items. Chacchoben Ruins and lagoon experience was awesome! Beach day in Cozumel was very relaxing!

Embarkation

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

4 out of 5
My Fair Lasy was amazing every time, windjammer was a disappointment most days and the poolside cafe had great salads but very few choices and not very palatable. Did not try any paid dining experience.

Onboard Activities

4 out of 5
The jumper was amazing looking out over the ocean, didn’t rock climb, had fun at the art scavenger hunt and learning to draw with numbers and letters with my son was fun. Plenty to do although I wish we’d done more research on the different ships available. My son loved the pools and we all enjoyed the large screen movie on the pool deck at night. Had fun at the comedy acts and karaoke.

Entertainment

Didn’t go to any

Children's Programs

Didn’t use this

Service and Staff

4 out of 5
Everyone except guest services and medical staff were amazing. I got bitten or stung by something and it was a nightmare and very expensive to see a ship doctor and I had to pay before I got off the ship. Even though it happened onboard. I recommend travel insurance as I eventually got reimbursed but it was a huge hassle since I didn’t have the $200 fee onboard.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
Everything was clean and easily laid out. A little disoriented finding my way to my room but not too bad.

Cabin / Stateroom

4 out of 5
Cabin was tiny and we had 4 people in there but very clean and our steward Connely was awesome!!!

Ship tip

We went to the Chacchoben Ruins of a Mayan Palace and visited a lagoon after with a waterside meal and drinks included through the cruiseline. It was expensive but well worth it. Go in the fall it was HOT!!! Wear a hat!

Cozumel, Mexico

We did our shopping here and had a wonderfully relaxing beach day through the cruise line. Free food and drinks and a beautiful beach with plenty of activities

It’s always a good idea to get travel insurance, especially for the medical benefits. As far as things being expensive on board, there is nothing additional other than tips that you are required to purchase that I am aware of. We rarely purchase anything above the basic cruise fare and tips and have a great time.
