This cruise is overpriced for what you receive. I had high expectations with it being on the Royal Cruise line but was left underwhelmed wishing I was on a Carnival cruise ship.

It had the potential to be efficient until the representative behind the desk was so very slow. The lady next to me checked in 3 family’s with 3 or more guest before the gentle handled my family of five. He was not efficient and completely slowed down the embarkation process.

Food and Dining

The main dining room was exceptional! Jurii and Miroslav were the highlight of our cruise! We had 30 people in our party and they had the chef prepare family style dining for table to share that was off the menu, then offered us to eat off the menu as well! If you sail in the enchantment ask for them, you won’t be let down!
Onboard Activities

There was not much to do that was not an additional fee. All activities for adults had a participation fee unless you like seeing men do a belly flop. The pools were just okay.
Entertainment

The comedian on the last night and Stephani Parker signing Whitney Houston’s songs were great entertainment but that was only 2 nights out of the 4 nights on the cruise.

The staff created a great environment for my daughter. She asked to go to the kid zone, which made it more comforting to take her and leave.
Service and Staff

My room steward Ryan, exceeded my expectations! He provided towel animals multiple nights and after asking for ice on the first day, he made sure I had ice every day of the cruise without me having to ask for it.
Ship Quality

The common areas declined as the ship sailed on. You would see plates and trash from the earlier in the day still out at the end of the day. The bar staff by the pool seemed like they didn’t want to be there and by asking for a drink you appeared to be bothering them and were hit with an attitude or condescending remark.
Cabin / Stateroom

My room steward kept our room clean through out the cruise. We had 5 people in our room and you never would’ve known.
Ship tip
Do not have high expectations of entertainment. This ship is more for older families who are not looking for much. If you are wanting to be entertained all day this is not the ship for you. We had one day of rain and the pool was closed, which was all one could pretty much do for free on the cruise was closed, the ship didn’t provide any other activities since the pool was closed.
Galveston needs better signage when entering the port so you do not go to the wrong terminal. There was also an accident at the port because the directional signage is so bad.
Cozumel was okay. We did the dolphin encounter at Chankanna, if you pay in advance you will still have to pay more to get your pictures and the photographer didn’t capture all the members in my family that we paid for.
I'm taking this ship next yr, I looked at it before I booked it, and if you would have done your research you would have seen it doesn't have all the bells and whistles as other bigger newer ships but hey its a short cruise and affordable and I think I can make myself happy doing other things for 3 days on the ship then going down waterslides and swimming in a pool.
Next time I think you better do more homework before you book a cruise we've been on carnival and Royal Caribbean have never had rude ship people talk to us
