I was so looking forward to this cruise. I took a friend that is 79 and it was on her bucket list. Unfortunately, the bar staff in multiple locations was very disappointing. Besides being rude, not acting like they wanted to service a drink, not offering service around the pool, but my friend slipped on deck in front of the bar and not one of the 5 bartenders came around to check to see if she was ok or needed help.

The pools were always full, not enough room for everyone on board and if there was an adult pool, I never saw one without kids in it. But there were plenty of lounge chairs.

I am not giving this no stars because my dining room and room service staff was awesome. But my bar experience was the worse ever. I have cruised Carnival and was excited about trying out Royal Caribbean, but I can honestly say I will definitely go back to Carnival after this experience.

As with all of the other reviews, this ship is old and quite of bit of rust. But I don't judge my experience on whether it is old or rusty but the service.
Cabin / Stateroom

Size and comfort and ability to move around was great. Perfect size, but of course it was also a handicap room. (not sure why I got assigned a handicap but at least the shower was bigger).
Ship tip
Wish you could take your own alcohol because dealing with the staff was horrible.
We did the Jose Cuervo Tequila Tasting which was pretty awesome. Not because of the alcohol but because of the history and learned how to drink it right at 55.
So you claim you have been on cruises before. You have none listed other than this one. You CLAIMED you were not pleased with the bar staff. Did you complain to guests services? I'll bet you didn't. I also have a serious problem with your friend slipping in front of the bar by the pool. I don't think you are correct because the staff is always concerned about the safety of their guests. Yes the ship is older than most. We've sailed on her before and yes pool areas are always crowded, been that way on every ship we've sailed on. I think this is "fake news" This sounds like the stuff Jim Acosta spews out
