Review summary

Great 20th Anniversary Cruise.......................................................................................................................

Embarkation

5 out of 5
It was excellent and speedy, they used some I-Pads at check in, took our picture and we were on our way. Our cards were waiting for us in our room.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

3 out of 5
The food was OK in the main dining room. We ate at the Chops Steakhouse 4 of the 7 nights we were there and it was fantastic, Theresa our server made the experience fantastic. Bar service was very good all over the ship, did not run into the super long wait times as in the past.

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
Really enjoyed the fitness center and the Track.

Entertainment

They were just ok.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Theresa in Chops was fantastic. Clair our stateroom attendant was awesome as well. She provided some next level service and it was fantastic.

Ship Quality

4 out of 5
Ship was undergoing some maintenance while we were at sea, there was some grinding and banging that seemed non-stop during the day on the lifeboat deck. However i do understand that they have to get the work done at some point. Ship was badly in need of paint in places as well as some other repairs to the deck. However it did not stop us from having a great time and in the end im not sure the outside appearance mattered all that much since the inside was very well taken care of.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Super clean and well maintained.

Ports of call

Galveston, Texas

Costa Maya (Mahahual), Mexico

3 out of 5
Poor Costa maya only gets a down grade due to all the sea grass that had floated in. The coast line smelled like a sewer plant. People however were nice as usual.

Cozumel, Mexico

5 out of 5
Always a good time.

George Town, Grand Cayman

4 out of 5
I understand by law they don't allow docking of all but a few vessels, but man tendering is a pain in the rear end. RCL needs to add more tenders during the peak on and off times.

Disembarkation

5 out of 5
Great, self assist departure. Highly recommend it. The hard working Men,Women, and K-9's of Customs and Border Protection made the final leg of the process a breeze.
