Review summary

We had a real good cruise except for 1 thing. We started to watch a movie one night on the pool deck. However, because of the cool temperture and the wind it got quite cool so my wife and her sisster-in-law went and got some towels to cover up with. That proved to not be the answer so we decided to leave. Since we were at the bow of the ship and her room was at the stern she took the towles back with full explanation of whose they were. NO matter, I found out after we left the ship on y final bill I had been charged with stealing 2 towels for a price of $50.00. Too bad RC is so hard up for profit that they "Stick" it to their customers any way they can.

The towels are used to reserve all chairs from dawn till close.

It isn't a profit center for them. It is simply a refundable deposit. Without the deposit, passengers were taking towels off the ship, throwing them away, not carrying for them, etc. With the $25 deposit, all of that mostly stopped.

When you check out towels at the towel station they tell you to return them to the towel station. There is also a sign saying to return the towels back to here. When the room steward(ess) clean your room they put all the linens together to be washed with all the other rooms. In order for them to have your name removed from the pool towels they would have to stop what they are doing and go down the the station with the towels in hand and tell them these are from room bla bla bla. That’s too much for them to do when they have a lot of things that need to get done. It’s a lot easier for the passengers to just return the towels back to where they got them from , that’s why they implemented the policy.

Whenever I return a towel to the towel station I always made sure that he takes them off for me I double check that means ask him twice so you won’t be charged for towels don’t let a little hiccup ruin your vacation keep on cruising I love to cruise
