Review summary
This was my first cruise and I do not plan on ever cruising again. We paid tons of money for different packages and thought that we would have a worry free vacation with our family, but that wasn’t so. Because we had 8 people in our party, we were not able to take all our pictures together. It was a afamily vacation with 7 adults and 1 child, but because we had to all stay in 4 different cabins, (how could we all fit in one?) they wanted us to pay $200 PER CABIN for us to take family pictures together. We were told the first day of the cruise that it would be fine, so we purchased one package and took our photos together. We were extremely excited about the photos and we couldn’t wait to get our disc at the end of the cruise. On the last night of the cruise however, we were told that we were told incorrectly by the other staff member and if we wanted the photos of our family, we would need to pay $600 more, $200 per cabin. It ruined our vacation because we didn’t take many pictures of our own thinking that we would have the pictures that they took for us. Now we have nothing to show for this experience which is heartbreaking because it will likely be the last family vacation that we get to take with my mother who has been battling cancer for almost 2 years now. Besides the cruise being over crowded and our day at Cocoa Kay being cut short when we had purchased a $280 bungalow, this was by far the biggest let down. I will never forgive Royal Caribbean for ruining this memory for my family. How can they expect a family traveling together to spend so much on a photo package when they have already spent so much on rooms and drink packages just to enjoy their trip? When is enough enough? We looked forward to this trip for so long, just to feel more stressed out once we were on the ship. Never again.Embarkation

This is as the best part of our cruise with Royal Caribbean. Anthony and Michaelvas were incredible! They took such great care of us. They learned our names and made us as though they cared. The food was wonderful and the dinning experience was superb. We sat at a different table one night of our cruise and that was a mistake, after that night we made sure to ask for Anthony and Michaelvas each night.
