Small ship with a limited choice of activities and amenities. Take the itinerary again in a heartbeat. Not sure if I would choose this ship again. I would definitely cruise on Royal Caribbean again.
Embarkation
5 out of 5
We have cruised 4 other times and this embarkation was the quickest we have ever experienced. They know how to get you on the ship in Miami
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
4 out of 5
While the quality of the food on this cruise was good, I couldn't give it an excellent rating due to the lack of choices available. I attribute this to the fact that this ship is much smaller than most vessels and there is only so much you can offer.
Onboard Activities
3 out of 5
Again, the size of the ship limited what was available to do on board. Frankly, this cruise isn't a cruise for someone looking for onboard activities unless you gamble. It's a small ship and the cruise is in port everyday, so the focus should be on the destinations, not the ship.
Entertainment
4 out of 5
Very good talent and showmanship. I just didn't like the choices of content. Not my favorite, but the artists were talented and professional. The material they were given was lacking.
Children's Programs
4 out of 5
Entertainment in the Orpheum was on par with other cruises the we have been on with Royal Caribbean in the past. Definitely worth taking time to watch. The talent that they had on the ship was very good. I was surprised more people didn't go to the shows.
Service and Staff
5 out of 5
Cabin, dining room and activites staff were, as always on RC, friendly and helpful and fun. This is a great organization that trains it's staff well in the art and skills of hospitality.
Ship Quality
3 out of 5
The crew did a great job of keeping the ship functioning and clean. The ship is tired and needs some work. I noted that the bathroom by the dining room had plumbing problems on 2 different days and the bathroom by the theatre had issues on one day. Never have seen that on any other cruise I have been on.
Cabin / Stateroom
4 out of 5
Our cabin was clean and the beds were comfortable. We didn't really get to spend much time in the cabins because the cruise was in port everyday. I would only add here that the ship is getting tired and needs some work.
Ship tip
We choose cruises because of ports and itineraries that we prefer, never have chosen the ship. Given the choice of the same Itinerary, I would not choose this ship. It's tired, small and the onboard choices are limited in activites and food. I would say that the crew was outstanding and the
Great place to visit. One local told me that they were the friendliest people anywhere and I left convinced he was probably right. Port facilities were a bit of a dump, but the town was Nice. Check out Atlantis. It's pretty cool!
Plenty of activities. Great food. Lot's of beach chairs and some souvenier shopping. Saw plenty of SeaRays swimming around the beaches. Would be happy to go to this port again.
Probably one of my favorite ports of call that I have cruise to. I think that's because it's in the USA! We went through customs and immigration here onboard the ship. Excellent food choice, shopping and plenty of activities to do. Cheapest parasailing is off the pier near the Commodore Waterfront restaurant. Parawest Parasailing for only $40/person. You won't get that rate off the tours available on the cruiseship.
