Review summary

Royal Caribbean don't allow u to bring drinks aboard. Carnival allows a bottle of wine and 12 pack of pop. I had to pay almost 300 just for the pop cost for 6 ppl. The food was great will give them that! All the money my son spent at the casino they didn't comp him anything but 300 off next cruise and if u ask me it should of been more!! Carnival at least values their gamblers. I paid for the deep sea dolphin dive and all day pass at Atlantis well the boat got there we had 7 to 3 and the water park don't open til 10 and we swam with the dolphins at 11:30 so we had only time to go down the water slide 1 time. My fault for not checking that out I guess, but never seen the open hours of the park! So I felt like I got took for there and my mother in law who has a cane I had to pay $160.00 just for her to walk in the park to look around more or less!!! Housekeeper was great and the room was nice for the 6 of us,but the shower was terrible.

You can bring two bottles of wine on board!

How do carnival value gamblers? I'm a big gambler and will be going on carnival fantasy at the end of the month?

Am awful lot of complaining for someone who obviously didn't did their homework. Take a half a second, and an ounce of effort next time, and you might be better prepared.

The ship is not dumb enough to offer excursions that won't meet the time frame.  It's really easy to determine from your itinerary how long you are in port and then the timing of the excursions.  Most excursions allow time before or after for walking around at the port.

Did the OPW say if they purchased that excursion from the cruise line or a street side vendor?

No wonder the cruise was ripe, you had 6 people in 1 state room.  Yikes!  With all that soda, that bathroom would have been a busy spot!  LOL

That's a lot of soda drinking.

RC allows 2 bottles wine per cabin

$300 off you next cruise is a pretty nice savings in my opinion. And the do allow you to bring wine on board with limitations. And you can't blame the cruise line for not doing your home work in regards to the shore excursion. This I why I always book my excursions on the ship. No worry. No hassle.

If all you needed was a 12 pack of soda why did you buy the package?

I was under the impression that guest can bring on 750ml wine bottle or champagne. I believe I saw mention of soda or water in the FAQ section.

This is why I am leery about booking an excursion and have never done one.  Timing, timing, timing and cost.
