Review summary

My mother was on a cane and one of the activities was in the lounge on the 11th floor. The elevator was not stopping on the 11th floor and only went up to 10 so she was not able to climb up stairs. We also witnessed a lady in a wheelchair who was unable to use the pool due to the wheelchair access being broken.

Food was mediocre and always brought to us cold since it just sits in a plastic container.

We went to go see the sexiest man competition on the pool deck. The staff barely attempted to recruit the men and when no one signed up they just cancelled it and walked away without effort. This was my 6th cruise and I have never saw the staff cancel an activity before.

The highlight of my trip was when we were able to leave the ship. The whole ship just seemed old and beat up. My pillow sheets had stains on them and shower was unsanitary.

I probably will try another cruiseline moving forward.

Shower was disgusting as the floor looked like it had not be properly cleaned. Pillow sheets had stains on them. Warren our housekeeper was very friendly and was always smiling. He was one of the highlights of our trip.

Ship tip

Worth the extra money for a balcony as the the interior cabins were very depressing.

I was just on Enchantment in April , yes it's an older ship. If you read the elevators some only went to 10 but the ones across the hall go up higher. If our food was cold we sent it back and it was right back out with a new hot meal. You just needed to open your eyes and your mouth and your cruise would have been better. Somethings like the wheelchair lift brake and need fixed it can't be helped. I once went to PT and the chair left was brake and I didn't get PT that day, it happens

Enchantment is really old. I personally would not blame the cruise line. I was on the ship and I was not impressed. But since the ship is old, just don't blame Royal Caribbean just try an class of ships. I have been on several of Royals ships and between enchantment and monarch. I was not impressed with either. So I sail on Radiance class and above. Never disappointed

Yeah when you get to higher decks that don't go the whole length of the ship not every elevator will go to them.

Yep, already apologized.

Hey cruisingrayman, this is not a Carnival ship. It's a Royal Caribbean ship. I was on this ship in April and there was an elevator that went to deck 11. Sorry you didn't find it.

Ok, my bad. I thought you had sailed on carnival. As I said, carnival is great with assisting people with all forms of disabilities, do try them next time.

if you have been on Carnival cruises in the past and on this class of ship you should already know the elevators that will take you to 10 and then across and to the bank of elevators that take you to deck 11. I have to tell you that it sounds more like you're fishing for a free Cruise and that there's no fault of Carnival in this case. I have seen many many instances of Carnival doing a great job of assisting people who have disabilities with being part of all the action. Maybe it is indeed time to try another cruise line.
