Review summary

As Diamond members, we have sailed on both new and older rccl ships. Enchantment of the Seas either needs some major updating or retirement. The food was really bad, and we are not fussy eaters. The Windjammer breakfasts were the worst . The quality of food was horrible. Lunch was just ok , we ate once in the dining room and paid for dinner in Chops Grille for the remainder of the cruise. The was a foul sewer order in many places on the ship both inside and out, which was so offensive we couldn't sit in certain areas of the ship. This wasn't random , it was through out the entire cruise. On a great note, rccl didn't disappoint on entertainment , it was fantastic. Service was excellent as well . I would not recommend this ship, it is old and worn out.

Dmanc6050 what ship would you recommend as a starter cruises out of Miami for someone new to RCCL.I usually cruise Carnival and want to give RCCL a try.Your suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

This is the type of review I have been looking for. A veteran cruiser who had previously done both older and newer. I often wonder why the same love isn't shown to older ships. I think enchantment is on the block for a small refurb, or so I heard for next year. Not sure if I'm a vet yet having sailed on Disney Dream, Carnival Breeze and Norwegian Gem previously. Thanks for the review!
