Review summary

This was a nice cruise. The ship, being a bit older, has been well maintained but still shows its age in the overall design as well as the limited offering of on board facilities. We didn't expect all that much for such an inexpensive cruise but we were pleased with the quality of the bar and entertainment venues. Our oceanview stateroom was a bit worn but mostly pleasing. The food was never bad, but it was only on rare occasion that we found something we thought was truly noteworthy. The barstaff were very pleasant and accommodating, but the dining experiences felt rushed. I will, however, say that we loved the barbecue spread on Coco Cay, as well as the island itself. We had the Ultimate drink package and that honestly was the highlight of our cruise! The different venues all have specialty cocktails which were excellent (I highly recommend everything on the Bolero's menu!) and as I mentioned, the barstaff were so friendly and welcoming! The entertainers were all fantastic, but the theater productions themselves could perhaps use an update. Overall, it was nice and definitely worth the money but look elsewhere for outstanding food or lavish accommodations.
