Weather prevented landing at Coco cay, we preferred being onboard anyways. Despite the wind and rain, we did go ashore in Nassau. Did a little shopping. Caught up on things via free wifi at McDonalds. Took Jitney 10 from in front of McDonalds to the zoo and back. $1.25 each way. Pay at the destination. Tell them where you want to go. (Zoo is pretty minimal, but had some exotic birds and plants there.) Food in the main dining room was ok, but we preferred the freedom of dining in the Windjammer. Lots of choices, and we liked the food. Met some nice folks. Casino was fine. Had some $10 blackjack tables. Boarding and departure were smooth and easy.

Food and Dining
5 out of 5
As usual, the main dining room required serving hundreds of people at once, and getting things cooked and serve at exactly the right moment doesn't always happen. However, had two great meals. Roast duck with current sauce was excellent. The prime rib was rare--the way I like it. However, they had said the choices were medium or well. Some folks thought it was too rare. Windjammer never disappointed. Breakfasts there were particularly fine imo.
Onboard Activities
Really didn't indulge, except for a few stints in the casino, some dancing, and some poolside time.
Entertainment
5 out of 5
The main shows were genuinely excellent. Great music, dancing and singing. (We have some experience in those areas, are pretty good judges of such.) The comedian was good too.

They were all very pleasant and helpful. Our steward, Pande, was very attentive. We liked our room (suite 8084).

Couldn't be cleaner. Dining areas, centrum, casino etc. all easily accessed.
Cabin / Stateroom

Spacious room with balcony. Little if any exterior noise. Slept well. Our steward (Pande) was very attentive.
Weather prevented landing at Cococay--apparently not an unusual circumstance the last month or so accdng to others' reviews. Didn't matter to us as we don't care to do excursions etc.
We're not big on any destinations, but there is free wifi at McDonalds, and you can take jitney 10 to the zoo for 1.25 each way. Locals are very pleasant and helpful. Also, the slavery museum was interesting.
Jan 4 through 8th. Fairly high winds most of the time, and you could feel the sea at times. Couldn't get into Cococay. Not a real problem for us, but not as sunny and calm as we'd have preferred.
