Review summary

Even though there were a few things that didn't match our expectations, there certainly were things that surpassed them. We really enjoyed this cruise overall.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

3 out of 5
We might be a food snobs as none of the food really impressed us our taste buds. A lot of the buffet foods were not warm enough to enjoy. Though we do give props for the variety offered and the buffet display always being full enough for choice and very clean.

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
We loved the variety of things to do throughout the day.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
We were very pleasantly surprised with the quality of the entertainment. It made for a great cruise experience.

Service and Staff

Shanisa did a great job at our sit down dinner.

Ship Quality

1 out of 5
Cleanliness throughout the ship was very good. But it definitely needs updating on it's decor. Mostly the cabins and the Centrum. And could use more room and seating in the Centrum area (4th). When good entertainment was happening there wasn't much room to be a part of it other than a few floors up to try and get a glimpse of what was going on. And not enough seating there either.

Cabin / Stateroom

1 out of 5
Though the room was clean, it is very, very dated. It gives off an offensive tired and worn feeling. Not one that makes for wanting to spend as much money on for our next cruise.

Ship tip

The overall ship shows signs of being old and tired. Understandable, but the simple decor items like furniture in the Centrum, could use replacing. It is very old and worn out. Did not make for a feeling of a luxury vacation at all.

Ports of call

Port Canaveral, Florida

1 out of 5
Nothing special about it at all. It felt very industrial to us.

Cococay (Cruise Line's Private Island)

5 out of 5
The weather wasn't the best on the day we were there, But it's definitely a beach destination we enjoyed.

Nassau, Bahamas

3 out of 5
We didn't really go past the shopping area. Which was nice even though we felt the prices were a bit high on everything.
