Review summary

All was well, until there was a fire that started a couple of rooms down from ours. Thankfully no one was injured but we had to tolerate the smell of smoke, stepping over and around workmen and walking halfway around the ship to get to our rooms. The staff at guest services were not very helpful. They only offered to have our clothes cleaned. Several rooms had to be moved, but ours was not. No one from the ship staff went out of their way to explain what was going on, only to make an announcement that some people would have to be moved. We felt very ignored and had to avoid our room for the entire evening to avoid the strong smell of smoke. If it wasn't for the fire, we would have had an excellent experience. The food wasn't as good as other cruise lines. The dining room staff more than made up for it. We were not impressed with the excursions that the cruise line offered but were able to find our own.

Room attendant and dining staff called us by name on the first day. This wasn't an easy task since we had all 9 of our children with us!

We could have done without the stop. We ended up at Ripleys museum, which was a lot of fun.

We loved it! We had planned to book an excursion through the cruise but they canceled all outdoor excursions due to a thunderstorm that hit when we arrived. It soon cleared up, so we tendered to shore and booked our own! We went snorkeling in the reef and to another area to snorkel with the stingrays! As we were tendering to shore we were able to see a pod of dolphins!
Don't Miss: Snorkel with the stingrays and at the reef! Best ever!!

Pros: The ship was beautiful, plenty to do, the staff was wonderful.

Cons: There was a fire a couple of rooms down from ours. Thankfully no one was injured, but guest services were not very informative about who was going to be moved. We were not moved and spent the last couple of days stepping over workmen and having to walk out of our way to get to our room. Very loud
