Ship experiences

Food and Dining

3 out of 5
Food was good with good presentation; expected more variety; staff "entertainment" below expectations for their dinner parades.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
Variety for varying age groups.

Children's Programs

3 out of 5
First night or two had trouble finding the teen activities - had to give up and return to room - staff was unaware wrong signs had been posted. Once we found "them" (two different age categories), they had fun and met new friends.

Service and Staff

3 out of 5
Most staff friendly.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
The size of the ship was grand! Easy access to everything. Deck plans near elevators for quick references. We had an adjoining balcony room for 3 teens, both rooms had good floorplan for both adults and teens. Choice of either sofa bed or ceiling bunk - tried both! Lots of closet/storage space. Could have used more "hooks" on the walls to hang more items. No robes furnished in this category. Pool towels furnished in room and clean dry ones always available for exchange at the pools.

Ports of call

Cococay (Cruise Line's Private Island)

1 out of 5
Privately owned island - we pre-purchased the kayak adventure - disappointed that we only went to a point at the end of the island and then straight back after a brief landing on a beach. Tour guide was great; explained how to kayak and was great at stopping along the way to show us conchs, starfish, stingrays etc.; good knowledge of area.
Don't Miss: rented snorkel equipment on our own at their (RCCL's) shack and let kids snorkel in the bay. Check out the iguanas that come right up to you in the hammocks!

Key West, Florida

Snorkel excursion was run very well, fun and safe. I was disappointed in the lack of fish and coral for the area.

Cozumel, Mexico

Visited the ruins. Small bus transported us there - guides were good. Bug spray was furnished. Be prepared for rain downpours! (Not cold - just wet!)

Pros: adjoing balcony rooms-good floorplan for family

Cons: teen activities hard to find at beginning of cruise
