Q: Trying to decide between early and late dining. Late will be better for sunset viewing beforehand but if late, will we miss all the shows? Interested in a combo of shows for adults and shows for young teens.

A: License and Birth Certificate is always subject to interpretation and involves risk of a negative determination. Technically the photo reciept serves as your DL until you receive your Real ID compliant license.

A: We buy the cruise insurance offered by the cruise line and in the rare times we have needed it, our needs were met. For example an injury on an excursion in Finland had bills totaling $60,000. Our out-of-pocket costs were less than $50.

A: Royal Caribbean does not have self-serve laundry on any of their ships. They offer a wash and fold service during all cruises. You can also send smaller clothing items to be washed & folded for a fixed fee of $34.99/per bag. Put as much as you can fi... t into the bag provided. Just ask your room Steward for more info.See More

Q: Does anyone have hotel recommendations for staying in Baltimore one day prior to cruise in October 2022? Thanks!

A: Yes, a fairly new Courtyard by Marriott is directly across the street from the port. Very modern hotel in a safe neighborhood with good restaurants (LP Steamers), Harris Teeter grocery store, and parking garage within a short walking distance. Rooms... on the port side provide a view of the ship. Because of road safety fences, it would be a 20 minutes walk (not recommended) to the port, but a five minutes or less drive. The hotel does offer a park and cruise package, but we preferred to drive the short distance to the port and pay the $15 daily parking fee. Parking at the lot is well organized and secure. This hotel and neighborhood amenities will not disappoint!See More

A: We always give a tip! Most of the people who work at the bars, that are waite staff in the dinning room and cabin stewards come from poor backgrounds and typically send the money home to their families so it's good to give a little extra. If you're t... ight-fisted it does get around the ship's crew, however, if you are giving they do treat you like royalty.See More

A: I am happy to share some of my good fortune. These workers come from very poor countries and work so very hard. A dollar here and there means so much to them
Answered by Elle20 on May 30, 2022
A: Not necessary, but I like to carry several $1 bills to reward exceptional service or well made drinks. I've found it leads to good rapport with the servers / bartenders and personal recognition when I walk into a crowded venue and want a beverage.
