Review summary

I was unsure about this cruise line after reading reviews about it being catered to a much older crowd. There were a lot of families and younger couples and there was always something to do! I would highly recommend cruising princess if you want a higher end relaxing cruise.

Embarkation

5 out of 5
Quick and easy embarkation process, I wasn't sure what to expect but we arrived around 11am and were on the ship by 11:20.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
Loved the MDRs and buffets. Ate at Catch by Rudi which was phenomenal (both the food and the presentation), but my absolute favorite was the 360 experience!!!

Onboard Activities

4 out of 5
Pools were great, hot tubs even better, just wish they would enforce the no jumping rule for the kids.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
We didn't get to see all of the shows we wanted, but the ones we did see were fantastic for the most part. The variety show seemed a bit odd, but other than that, they were all great.

Children's Programs

we didn't bring children on board.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Everyone everywhere we were on the ship were top notch!

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
loved the whole ship, everything was clean or being cleaned at all times

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
The size was perfect for 2. the bed was indeed the most comfortable bed i think i've ever slept on (couldn't wait to try it after reading all of the reviews). The balcony was perfect for watching sunrises and sunsets and just getting a breather in the middle of the night.

Ship tip

Try and explore everything about the ship. There are so many things we didn't do/see because we were so tired after our excursions, next time I will make the time to explore!

Sounds like a great cruise. Yes Princess doesn’t have a lifeguard keeping order in the pool like RC does. I don’t mind kids jumping as long as they don’t splash people near the pool. If you’re in the pool, you can’t complain too much about getting wet.

1960 I agree with you. Your cruise is what YOU make it. After 29 cruises Princess is our cruise line of choice! Tried one of the other big cruise lines and they couldn’t hold a candle to Princess!

I've done many Princess cruises and enjoyed every one of them. Cruising is all about peoples perspectives cause one person can say it's the best while the other says it was the worst.
