Review summary

Probably one of the best cruises I’ve been on. Food was great, service excellent. Only two downside items - chair hogs (no Karen you can’t hold your chair all day while you’re on a port excursion and pitch a fit when you get back) and thankful that Rock Opera ended after yet another horrible performance! I traveled with my brother and he kept saying, “What the heck?” We loved the Whitney Houston performer, Elton John show and especially enjoyed Spotlight Bar which had every genre of music. Ship was absolutely beautiful. Good onboard activities but so many people had been on for weeks and they kept playing and winning the same games over and over! Comedy was meh except for first guy whose name I can’t remember. His afternoon show was excellent but it was his final show.

Cabin / Stateroom

For an inside cabin this was top notch. The room design allowed privacy for two (the room can fit four with pull down bunk). The placement of the bathroom was perfect since it was around the corner from the sleep area. Even the auto ceiling light didn’t bother us at night since it was near the bathroom!

Ship tip

The layout is lovely. Don’t worry about where your cabin is located. Easy access from everywhere to deck 16 for food and down to 7 where you can access the ship from front to back easily (and easy access to deck 6,5 and gangway). And for the love of God please use the App! That way you don’t have to be rude to the hosts at the MDR when they can’t seat you for two hours. It’s not hard to do and they have a person at the internet cafe that can help you!

Tortola, British Virgin Islands

A plus. Stayed in port area since we had other things planned at other ports. Beautiful area. Will explore more on another cruise.

Philipsburg, St. Maarten

Visited Big Baastards Beach Club. Have been to island many times. Nice area but pushy vendors! Worse than Nassau which is saying a lot! Still enjoyed our time even with a few showers!

Grand Turk Island

Very surprised how nice this port is! Can’t wait to visit again. Walked around, bought a tshirt and people watched. Very easy access from ship to port area. Great space history with info readily available.

St. John's, Antigua

Took a nice private tour around the island. Visited a few beaches and dockyard. Beautiful place. Would visit again.

Basseterre, St. Kitts

2nd time visiting and second trip on train. Lovely experience. Would recommend.

Charlotte Amalie, St. Thomas

Walked around a bit then back to the ship. One of my favorite ports but have been enough times to just want to chill onboard while everyone else enjoyed the area. Always nice and clean with friendly folks.

Glad you had a great cruise. We love Princess too. Chair hogs are selfish.

TiffyTaffy it was actually hilarious. I was sitting outside eating breakfast and she set up two chairs. Her husband came down from an upper deck and said, “What are you doing? We’re going on an excursion remember?” And not batting an eye she said, “I want these for when I get back. These are our chairs.” And she walked away towards breakfast. He just shook his head. But I kid you not, she sat there or placed her stuff there every single day without fail. I kept seeing her around the ship and she was a total pain to everyone.

Thanks for your review. I’m glad you had a lovely time. Chair hogs are annoying, but this Karen took it to a whole other level.
