Review summary

We would not choose to go on this particular ship again it needed some refurbishing and there were some things that might have been dangerous such as step trims going down to the pool or Lucy because somebody to trip we notified somebody and nothing would have done. The alcohol drinks in the dining room and bars for excessively expensive from 12:00 to $15 with the wine pores being approximately 4 oz might be because they want to push you into the premier package which we do not want we are very unhappy about the alcohol infant service on this ship

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

3 out of 5
Buffets were subpar with the hot offerings not appearing whatsoever. Food choices were limited. Guests used the same self serve ladle which can cause contamination. Main dinning rooms were good with exception of a few meals that were served dry.

Self serve food in buffet is a questionable choice

Cabin / Stateroom

2 out of 5
Small will 2 Pullman bunkers that we would hit and injured our shoulders getting out of bed. We also had a water leak at aut stateroom door from the ceiling

Thanks for the feedback, however everything must have changed drastically since our April '24 Transatlantic cruise. We thought the buffet was simply excellent. I do highly recommend doing basic homework on your cabins in the future as the exact configuration of each cabin is available in so many places online. Seems like things you were bothered by are standard in the cruising industry... Good luck in the future!

Was there any other petty complaints? Any cruise line you sail on, you will find the same scenarios. If you keep hitting the bunk beds, then that's on you, since you know it's there. Wine and booze prices are about the same across the cruising industry. Just what did you expect when you get a glass of wine, .....filled to the top? Land based restaurants don't even do that. I've been on the Emerald Princess and had a great time and thought she is a beautiful ship. Too bad you spent more time complaining and not enjoying the cruise.

Appreciate your feedback. At this age, bunk beds are definitely a non starter.😱 Sorry this cruise didn’t meet your expectations.
