The drive was beautiful; the aerial tram experience relaxing and beautiful; the sloth sanctuary was informative (and the sloths were adorable). Well worth the money in my book.
Did a Canal museum, old town and Fort Clayton. It was probably my least favorite tour of the cruise, but for my husband, this was about returning to where he was stationed in the 70s. For that reason, it was perfect.
I did the emerald jewelry making tour. No, the emeralds aren’t high quality, but I learned a few tricks to up my own jewelry making craft. The best part was interacting with our instructors!
Remember that delays are inevitable during embarkation and disembarkation. Relax and go with the flow. Once we moved from the ship the process was smooth and relatively quick.
