A long dreamed of cruise that created memories for my family.

Embarkation

Unavoidable delays but Staff kept us well informed and hydrated.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
Our meal at Share was memorable! Even with Anytime Dining the staff remembered our preferences.

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
I didn’t expect much because I was planning on relaxing. Lots of opportunities to do what I wanted.

Entertainment

4 out of 5
I didn’t go to many. Most of what I went to was good.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Our room steward was good! The photography staff helped create and capture a memorable cruise!

Ship Quality

Cabin / Stateroom

Balcony cabin was perfect for two adults. We had 4. It was crowded and lacked some privacy but we rarely spent time in the cabin.

Ports of call

Puerto Vallarta, Mexico

5 out of 5
Highlight excursion was a good, quick overview.

Huatulco, Mexico

Rural communities excursion was WONDERFUL! It went way off the beaten path into the mountains and artisan homes.

San Juan Del Sur, Nicaragua

5 out of 5
Looking down into an active volcano and seeing the magma bed was one of my personal highlights of the cruise!

Puntarenas, Costa Rica

5 out of 5
The drive was beautiful; the aerial tram experience relaxing and beautiful; the sloth sanctuary was informative (and the sloths were adorable). Well worth the money in my book.

Fuerte Amador, Panama

5 out of 5
Did a Canal museum, old town and Fort Clayton. It was probably my least favorite tour of the cruise, but for my husband, this was about returning to where he was stationed in the 70s. For that reason, it was perfect.

Panama Canal Transit

Cartagena, Colombia

I did the emerald jewelry making tour. No, the emeralds aren’t high quality, but I learned a few tricks to up my own jewelry making craft. The best part was interacting with our instructors!

Disembarkation

4 out of 5
Remember that delays are inevitable during embarkation and disembarkation. Relax and go with the flow. Once we moved from the ship the process was smooth and relatively quick.
