Review summary

Great cruise, long time at sea going and coming back but plenty to do on board the ship, Mexico was awful but didn’t spoil the trip, LA airport is shocking, our flight wasn’t until early evening so we planned on storing our bags at the airport and going down town LA for a few hours, nowhere to store the bags so we had to wait until lunch time to check in..........should have made arrangements beforehand to spend the day in LA, at least we know for next time 😀

Plenty of room and loads of hangers and hanging space, kept immaculate by the cleaners

Go to the main reception when you board and cancel the gratuities as 15 dollars a day per person is ridiculous

Plenty of buses just off the ship which take you round the island for a fixed price, I should have planned it better so didn’t get to see as much as I would have liked

Fabulous place, lack of excursions off the ship so might be a good idea to hire a car or do a ship excursion......top tip, 1 hour helicopter trips 100 dollars in the little tourist hut just off the ship

Lovely place, walked into the local town and booked a trip round the island, well worth it and much cheaper than the ship excursions

Why the ship docks here is a mystery to me, awful place, would be better visiting another Hawaiian island and sailing back to LA, get off and have a browse for a hour, don’t bother with any excursions is the feedback I got from other people on the ship

Ship must stop in international port on the trip per US law allowing them to use majority of foreign crew and cut labor cost bug time. I'm sure Mexico appreciates it...otherwise you are right on no reason to stop

Nice review .. we sail 11 March on emerald ... did you eat at Crown Grill? How was the MDR? Sound like u had fun And the helicopter in Maui might be be good value!

Enjoyed the time on board. Disembarking was a nightmare. Heavy rain, and had to walk in 4+ inches of water. Bus three blocks away. Princess did nothing to help. Suitcases wet,clothes wet, bus left cargo door open when he started driving until we yelled.

Incredible 2 weeks to Hawaii

Miss Emerald does need the refurbish comming soon
