Review summary

We had a nice cruise. All staff were friendly, competent, smiling and focused on servicing us. The food was very good. The entertainment was very good too. Activities on ship were fine. What disappointed us was that the captain decided not to get close to glacier. His rationale was that there was another ship there. This suggest poor planning or execution. In today’s environment where everyone knows (or should know) where the ships are, this is unacceptable

Overall, the cruise was very good. Attention to cleanliness, customer service and shops operations were outstanding. Entertainment was very good. Ships activities were adequate. Food was very good. Shops were very classy on their marketing with NO pressure. Our only complaint was that the captain did not bring ship close to glacier, last cruise captain had done. His rationale for not getting closer was that there was another ship there. With today’s technology where everyone knows (or should know) where everyone else is, his excuse seemed very lame and unacceptable
