Review summary

This was my first Alaska cruise and I will admit that I was hesitant about it, but once I was there I couldn’t believe how beautiful it was. Of course the weather was much cooler than the Caribbean but it was pleasant with one partial day of rain in Ketchikan, where it rains 300 out of 365 days a year, but the sun did come out later. If you are thinking of cruising to Alaska, don’t wait, it is beautiful. I will probably do it again in the future.

Food and Dining

4 out of 5
Have been on 17 Princess cruises so far & sadly have to say that the food was just so-so this time around. We ate almost exclusively in the main dining room and the staff was wonderful as always but the food was subpar.

We did not get off the ship in Victoria because we arrived about 7 pm & all aboard at 11 pm. We didn’t feel that was enough time to see the area (& it was dark for most of the time there)
