Review summary
Taking a cruise to Alaska is great because so many places you can only travel by boat or plane. I think I would go with another line with kids. Our ship had babies to older teens with every other age too but not enough to do. I felt like the only entertainment was the pool and in July it was cold and windy to be swimming in my opinion. Really wanted to have more games and activites.Embarkation

Ship tip
Our balcony room was very nice. I couldn't imagine going to Alaska without one. We knew the cabin was going to be small and that part was ok except when it was bedtime. I didn't like the stairs for the upper bed to be in the walking space to go to the bathroom when its dark in the middle of the night. Stubbed some toes. Ouch!
