Very exciting to be on the cruise, love the food, drinks, meeting with ship-mates, exploring the different islands, theater, afternoon tea time, pool, movie under the stars, buffett, daily information talks, and much more.

Embarkation

The start of checking in was a breeze for us, walking unto the ship check-in, fast walking to our balcony portside cabin was very exciting and looking over the cabin and balcony. We decided to explore the Emerald and I had a pina colada in my brain since the day before and there it was a bar was open. Yes, a pina colada was well deserved and fabulous taste while exploring the ship. We found the dining areas, shops, pool areas, buffet location, casino, theater, sun deck, dance club which helped us know where we want to go for 10 days. This was my first Princess cruise and we loved it so much we just start booking the Alaskan Cruise in 2017. However, since we are Princess Club members we can place $100 deposit on another cruise which will be the Panama Canal in 2019.

I loved all the dining options, especially the Afternoon Tea, British Lunch, Seafood Boil for $20, Buffett for breakfast and lunch. It is all you can eat to order which I really enjoy that with No stares but smiles.

Loved all the stage shows, live music in the main section of the ship every day.

Movies Under The Stars

I wore my pajamas and ship robe to see a movie under the stars and enjoy the popcorn and my pina colada. When some shipmates notice me in my pajamas they went to change into theirs and we all fell asleep under the stars with a lovely breeze and no one bothered us which was great.

Service and Staff

No complaints with the service and staff at all. This is the main reason we are coming back this year 2018, 2020, 2022 and so on.

Portside Balcony is the only cabin for us with no thinking about it. I love the space of the room, balcony space which I can enjoy sitting outside and view the island, eat snacks, read and talk.

I love visiting Barbados because I can get a taxi to downtown and have lunch at the Caribbean buffet and walk around the area.

Walked to the famous Oprah Winfrey native Chef restaurant which is located on the bay; the lunch was excellent and we met the Chef.

Roseau, Dominica

I like docking at Roseau instead of the other side of Dominica. The downtown was very nice to walk around and talking to the people.

Very relaxing day, bbq food, nice swim and just having a nap under the shade.
