The scenery was amazing in the inside passage and the weather cooperated and didn't pour down rain on us. Most of the meals were good but a few were "meh" OK. Princess found some entertainment to keep us occupied while at sea but, nothing special.
We did have the unlimited drink package but were still billed for a small amount of drinks. We were able to get those charges removed at the customer service desk on board so check your bill now & then.
The ship itself was very nice and we had a good time exploring and learning our way around. The staff for the most part were amazing but we had a few that were evidently having a bad day and were a little grumpy. Overall we had a wonderful time and would hop on board a Princess ship again for any future cruises.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining

We did specialty dinning one evening and it was great (had a 14oz ribeye) but we paid extra $29 per person for that. The sit down traditional service was nice ( we had a 6pm table nightly if we chose to use it) and the food and service were good. We did eat at the Horizon buffet a few times and they had a nice variety of choices.
Onboard Activities

Kept us busy while at sea. You can always find something to do.

Children's Programs
We didn't use this service as our children are grown.
Service and Staff

As noted, most were very friendly, helpful and even fun, but there were a few that didn't seem to enjoy their jobs.

The quarters are a little tight but still comfortable. Having a balcony is the only way to go in my opinion.
Had some amazing seafood dockside. The trip through the Endicott Arm Fjord on our way to Skagway was beautiful and is a memory we will carry with us for our lifetime. A must see.
We didn't have enough time to get into Victoria after our specialty dinning that evening. The walk into town from the dock is 25-30 minutes. We crossed through customs just to say we were in Canada, then turned around and went back to the ship.
I honestly don't know for sure. They said it was unlimited up to $10 each. We were with 3 other couples and did shots a few times and never hit a limit. You have to use your own card to buy drinks though. Like, I couldn't get my wife and myself a drink on my card only, I had to take her card to the bar with me.
We're thinking of getting the unlimited drink option but have heard that some cruise lines limit the unlimited drinks to 15 per day. Does Princess have this restriction?
