Review summary
I just read a review and the writer said they were on this same cruise and loved it. We did not love it so much. When we got to our room the bed was not made. Found a lot of the staff rude. Not all of the staff, we had some very nice people help us. The meals in the buffet were warm at best. We had room service for breakfast almost everyday and never once got hot coffee. One day we are pretty sure the coffee was left in the pot from the day before. It was ice cold. In the buffet we found it hard to get a server to get us a drink. Meals in the dining room were rushed. Went to afternoon tea and again felt rushed. Tea was served, sandwiches were served and even before the person serving sandwiches had left the table they were serving cakes. Afternoon tea is supposed to be relaxing and slow but we felt like they couldn't get rid of us fast enough. On more than one occasion there were no towels at the pool. Went on an end of cruise excursion and were told by Princess that we would be back at the airport by 11:15. We were dropped off at the airport at 12:25. One hour and 20 minutes before our flight. Got to the gate 10 minutes before boarding. There was no one big thing that disappointed us but a lot of little things that made this an unpleasant cruise.
