The Family Zone is a great place. A little less crowded but still great for the kids.

Princess tea and make-overs beforehand are magical. Book very early.

Read up as much as possible before your first Disney cruise for tips and recommendations.

Spend some time exploring all the parts of the ship at the beginning of the cruise. We didn't do enough of that, and we continued to find new and interesting areas up until the end of the cruise. Another tip: use the cruise navigator program on your phone to text family members on board.

Try and find the sunken Mickey at Castaway Cay in the Snorkel Lagoon.

A great experience-one of the best ways to vacation with kids.

Take your own water bottles and fill up at the drink stations by the pools. If you are planning on seeing the shows in the Walt Disney Theater, get there at least 30 minutes before show time - that is when they open the doors and seats go fast. Be sure and ask and sign up early for the Galley tours.

Make sure you do the Midship Detective Agency and ride the AquaDuck!

Sit down at breakfast and plan your day using the On-line Disney app. There is so much to do you don't want to miss anything. Also, plan ahead for shore excursions as they are usually small and fill up quickly.

The ship is incredible. Definitely pick up a hidden Mickey book and challenge your family and friends to find the most. Then sit back and enjoy!

Organize the trip to maximize time with Disney characters for the kids. Also, take the kids on the Detective Adventures. They will love it.

We had a "Hidden Mickey book" and enjoyed doing that on the ship as well as their private island, Castaway Cay. There are many activities to do on the ship, but we would recommend doing as many as you can to get the full experience!

Make sure you complete your ON-Line check-in, to the point that you get a Port Check-in Appointment. When you book early, you can check-in on-line; however, there is No Port Check-in Menu. So ask Disney when the PORT APPOINTMENT MENU will become active. You want to get as early, as possible.

Opt for a Concierge stateroom.

Take an expired credit/gift card to put in the slot for lights as you enter your room. Most ppl believe it has to be a Key to the world card but it doesnt. I was telling ppl all week long and most didnt know and would track me down later to tell me it worked.
