Review summary

The embarkation and debarkation processes are the best we have seen in the 6 cruises we have taken.  The food in the main dining room is very good at times (last days) and average sometimes. The coffee is probably the worst at sea, even if prepared from Illy coffee into expresso based coffees. The service is excellent everywhere on the ship.

The ship itself is a wonderful Disney creation, from huge Nemo wall modaics to Mickey shaped lights and sinks in the bathrooms to picture frames that become animated when you approach.

the animation is fabulous.  The appearances of Mickey and his crew are well timed and give rise to great dance parties. The princesses also make regular appearances at scheduled times.  Remember to get tickets to take good free pictures.  The pirate night is dynamic and lively, pefectly timed to end with nice but short fireworks.

The kids' club is amazing.  The kids rush through supper and beg to go to the club where they are checked in and out via a wrist band to defined persons who must know the password for the child.

The cruise is amazing to live through as a child or through a child's eyes for an adult.

The nightly shows include three wonderful Disney stories.  The last show is a disappointment as it caters mainly to adults and closes off the cruise without any use of Disney magic or emotion.  They missed the "boat" on that one.

Overall, living this with the grandchildren was one of the best cruises we have ever had.

the Remy dining room is fabulous.  Expensive but truly fabulous.
