We always wondered if the "Disney difference" in cruising was true - and we found out, emphatically, that it is. What a wonderful cruise experience, from beginning to end. In cruising, you get what you pay for, and Disney is worth every penny. While not every cruise will be with Disney, I can see us regularly cruising Disney - with our daughters, one day with our grandchildren, and even just the two of us. Background. My wife and I are in our early 40s, we have two tween-age girls, aged 11 and 9 at the time of sailing (currently ages 12 and 10). This cruise was our fourth overall, and first with Disney Cruise Line. We are reasonably experienced cruisers, having taken (at the time of writing this review) five cruises on Royal Caribbean, Norwegian, Disney, and MSC (and with five more booked on Norwegian and Disney). We travel as a family, and look for a mix of relaxation, family time (these two being my personal #1 priority), good food, entertainment, and fun in a cruise vacation. While I try to incorporate educational experiences, we do not usually seek out action/adventure experiences. For this cruise, we traveled with my parents, who are experienced cruisers but who had also never cruised with Disney. We booked (adjoining) staterooms 6104 and 6106, both a category 04D Deluxe Family Ocean View with Verandah, with no included promotions.

this was my first cruise and I had an amazing experience. my kids enjoyed it.! it was worth the money and wait! I would not travel in any other cruise that its not a Disney cruise! the service is just amazing! they ACTUALLY MAKE YOU FEEL like a queen and king! I guess all dreams do come true!

A very merry time indeed! Relaxation had by us both.

First 7 night cruise back for Disney Fantasy post covid was exciting, covid protocols were necessary and non-intrusive. Masks were mandated in doors and enforced by Disney staff, as well as washing of the hands. We felt very safe with pre-testing in the garage prior to boarding.

It was probably the best cruise I've been on. I would go on more, but Disney can and does charge a premium for these cruises, but, it is a premium experience. If you're looking for a top-shelf cruising experience, this may be the ship for you.

Besides COVID restrictions it was a wonderful time. Disney did an excellent job. Can’t wait to do it again.

My wife and I took our oldest grandson (8 years) for a vacation, he was waiting for 2.5 years because of COVID. Everything turned out perfect as we anticipated. Grandson was ecstatic from entire cruise. He helped me to do this review. I wish for every child to experience this kind of adventure at least ones in life time. DISNEY YOU ARE THE BEST!!!! A+++

After a 3 year hiatus sailing again was well worth the wait. Being away from the stress and watching as we sailed along to the Southern Caribbean was magical. This being the fifth Disney cruise, there are things to look for and take note of. One thing that was lacking was the Port Adventures staff. They were not useful and rarely opened. On a 9 night cruise many may think that you will find time to talk with them, but that was rarely the case as they were open just before port arrival for about an hour and a half and from 7-8:30 PM. I’m guessing this is because of staffing shortages, but the Port Adventures staff did not do the best the could. More to be discussed later. Adult entertainment was lacking and much less than it used to be. Repeat shows, etc.

Great cruise, will sail with Disney Cruise Line again. We were a party of adults only and were concerned about this. However the adult areas were great and at dinner we were seated by ourselves (which we asked to when we booked the cruise). It was nice to see the kids and families play in the main areas and the pool areas and see the kids interact with the characters, but it was also nice to be able to go to the adult only pool area and bar areas.

I loved it so much that I did a place holder aboard ship. I do feel that there are a few more benefits given to those who sail more than first time cruisers. I thought it would be the other way around to entice you to return but honestly everything was so wonderful that chiding to sail again was the easiest choice I have made. Enjoy every moment because ALL of it is amazing

The cruise was excellent! Wish buffet was open for dinner!

I kind of felt that there was not much to do like between 1:00 - 6:00. It was mostly for 18+. We missed most of the holiday crafts and the animation classes because they were held in the mornings and late afternoons, when we were enjoying the pool or the ports. Since it is a Disney ship, I felt that the 18+ and over should have been later like after 9 and all the other activities should have been for families.

Disney cruises are great for families and fans of Disney. Staff is friendly and the ship is clean with lots of entertainment.

Everything was perfect and amazing , stateroom , staff , activities and entertainments  , ports of call

My parents and I went on this cruise that included a Star Wars Day at Sea. I definitely recommend to any Star Wars fan.

This cruise was amazing with a Star Wars Day at Sea.  Our dining staff was especially good this time around.  It was our first Disney Cruise where all four kids could go into the secured play area so we thought we would have a lot of time alone, but with so much to do, the kids were always splitting time between the kids areas and with us to explore.  Lots to explore and do on the ship too!

Had an enjoyable cruise with my immediate family and my husband’s family. The ship and staff were great.

This cruise it is not only for kids. Adults enjoyed it, too!

We had a wonderful vacation and look forward to the next one.
