Wear your bathing suit under your clothes when you board,and you can begin enjoying the water fun immediately and not wait for your luggage to "catch up" with you

No need for fancy clothing for dinner. I was expecting a captains ball or dinner and that didn't happen. Dinner is casual atmosphere.

If you want your child to see the Disney princesses, make sure you get your tickets once you board the ship the first day. We didn't know this on our first cruise but the second time around we were better prepared.

Don't go on boat and think youre kids will be watched and occupied by kids club .... babysitting is a nice option for a couple hours here or there- but the best stuff happens around the ship with you. Also- sign kids up for camp once one boat. The line before you got on was outrageous and unneccess

Go on the Norwegian Getaway. Disney is overrated. The shopping onboard is pretty good and very busy the last night of the cruise. Maybe bring pirate attire? I noticed maybe 30-40% people dressed for pirate night onboard.

Pirate night theme was great, bring costume as the entire ship participates. Young children were princesses or princes each night, bring their costumes. Bibbidi Bobbidi boutique was GREAT!

If you are in a party of 3 or less call ahead and request to be seated alone, sharing table with strangers can be a real challenge.

Do take time to enjoy the adults-only area. It is so much less hectic than the main pools on Deck 11. Also, make sure you take at least one ride aboard the AquaDuck!
