Before this Disney cruise, our last cruise was with Carnival. What a difference - we will be using Disney for a long time! The ship was so well maintained and the staff was exceptional. On the Carnival cruise, we had to wait in lines everywhere, but with this Disney cruise, we rarely waited. It was so much nicer!

Words cannot express how wonderful this cruise was! We had a one bedroom suite and loved the room! The Disney Dream was a great ship, the staff and service was also great! Overall very impressed. My family love the cruise and we plan to book another disney cruise. Must get the cabana on the private island!

Port Arrival went very smoothly..only had to wait about 25 minutes total to board. The ship is very beautiful but somewhat difficult to navigate as some areas are not clearly marked where to go. The rotating dining was very nice, enjoyed our wait staff very much. The children enjoyed the all you can eat ice cream. Now speaking of children, I was traveling with a 23 month old and a 12 year old boy. Other than putting the 23 mo old in the nursery or taking him to Nemo's reef- the little kids water play area..there is absolutly nothing else to do with a little one. Really surprised that Disney could not fit in a soft playground area that parents could take the little ones to. Really disappointed in that. Now my 12 year old really felt like there was not much for him to do. The Edge club felt like it was more appropriate for a 8-9 year old girl so he would not go in the at all. He did ride the Aquaduck about 50 times but even that got boring after awhile. Also we felt like there was TOO MUCH adult only areas. he felt left out if we tried to use these areas. Even the gym was 18+. I know this sounds crazy but if you need that much adult only time maybe a Disney Cruise is not the cruise for you.

This was my third cruise. Disney not only has the best ship, they have the best crew. Not one bad thing to say. Friendly wait staff, room attendent and so on. Food was always good, not perfect but well above cruise standard. The Annimators Palate Restaurant was amazing, jaw dropping entertainment. The pictures on the wall come alive and actually converse with you. Will make cruising with other cruise lines hard to tolerate. In a strange way, that's not a good thing. The best part of the trip was the trip to the private island. Boy, do I get tired of the constant haggling and promotion at the typical cruise ship destination. It was a pleasure to be on an all inclusive island that catered to me. Food and drinks and transportation on the island provide free by Disney. Outstanding!!!!! Beautiful place to visit, Castaway Cay. WILL DO THIS AGAIN!!!

Our family just returned from our 3rd Disney cruise. Last year we tried another cruise line (Norweigan) and were disappointed. it was a nice vacation, but excellence is in the details, and Disney does it right! Disney truly is a worry-free cruise. Every step of the on-baording process is orchestrated so that there is no waiting. Excursions are well-structured and guided so that you are not left wondering which way to go. Every employee exudes the magical experience that Disney promises to each family. Every girl is a princess, every boy is a pirate, and every adult is stress-free. No matter your age or your family structure, Disney will make sure your vacation surpasses all of your expectations.

From the moment we stepped onboard we were in awe of our surroundings. We explored decks 3 and 4 and went to our balcony stateroom where our baggage waited in the hall. We settled in and familiarized ourselves with the stateroom. It was like Christmas morning, finding all of the quirks about the room. I was amazed with the two bathrooms. I told my wife this is far more than expected. We met our friends and continued to explore the "Dream" then on to lunch in Cabana's. Ok I'm impressed. I had seen sailaway videos online so I knew where to be seen and arranged our friends on deck. The horn sounded the multi Disney themes and it made the hair stand on my neck, Wow. Needless to say the remainder of the cruise was a crescendo of the beginning. Castaway Cay was awesome, the meal served on the island was way beyond anything we had expected plus an ice cream machine. The Pirate party and the fireworks that followed locked a permanent smile on my face. I felt very letdown when I seen Port Canaveral coming into view. I was like a child. I didn't want this to end. I told our friends I would hate to try another Cruise Line because I know I would be disappointed. I want my "Dream BACK"

The check in process is organized and fast, the food (taste and quality) excellent. The shows, service, staterooms....... Everything!!! Perfect!

Cleanliness, friendly staff, food was excellent, adult only areas were great

The ship is beautiful and so clean. The crew go over and above to give great service! The shows were wonderful and the children's club is the very best!

a disney cruise was just what my husband, my 20 year old son and l needed to take a break from work. you see we own a hair salon in gulf breeze, fl. we all 3 work there. people who said to us why would you want to go with a bunch of kids do not know how disney does knows how to treat there gueast. we had the best fresh food, and service, with attention to detail of any travel i have been blessed to do.

Well taken care of -

We loved it. You only have to be a kid at heart to have a wonderful time.

The ship was fantastic - several options to dining, entertaining, shopping and activities (both adult & youth). Cleanliness was optimum (unbelieveable) -

we taught there wiill be a lot of activities for older people. we taught there will be a lot of different restaurant and fast food to choose. we were so dissapointed not stopping on any port.

Everything was first rate and excellent

The ship was great and they did an excellent job of keeping it clean. Fresh towels in the cabin and at the pool and gym. The food was great with shrimp and crab available at lunch every day. No need to go to the diningroom because the buffet was very good. 3d movies in the theater with some of the latest Disney movies. Adult areas spread throughout the ship so no need to worry about being with the children in the pool or on deck. The aqua duck was a fun water ride on the ship. If you enjoy working out the gym was well equiped and we were able to run a 5k on Castaway Cay the private Disney Island we visited. When we boarded the ship there was a buffet but they did not do a good job of oriented us to the ship so it took us a while to figure out where to go . Luckly there we maps available. One of the best cruises we have taken.

I had not been on a cruise in 19 years, and boy was this a much nicer ship than I remembered. First cruise for my husband and children and they can't wait to go back!
