Adults can have fun too

Sail Date: October 14, 2012

Reviewed: 3 years ago

Traveled As: Family w/older children

Room Type: Oceanview

The ship was great and they did an excellent job of keeping it clean. Fresh towels in the cabin and at the pool and gym. The food was great with shrimp and crab available at lunch every day. No need to go to the diningroom because the buffet was very good. 3d movies in the theater with some of the latest Disney movies. Adult areas spread throughout the ship so no need to worry about being with the children in the pool or on deck. The aqua duck was a fun water ride on the ship. If you enjoy working out the gym was well equiped and we were able to run a 5k on Castaway Cay the private Disney Island we visited. When we boarded the ship there was a buffet but they did not do a good job of oriented us to the ship so it took us a while to figure out where to go . Luckly there we maps available. One of the best cruises we have taken.

Pros: You could be busy all day with all the activities\, we even ran a 5k

Cons: the areas for children were very noisy so you must frequent the adult only areas

Recommends Disney Dream? Yes!

Cabin / Stateroom
There were separate bathrooms one with the toilet and a second with the shower. The room was very spacious with a sleep sofa in addition to the queen size bed. Fresh towels were put in our room throughout the day.
Service and Staff
Wait staff and cabin steward were friendly and did an excellent job.
Ship Quality
Food and Dining
Our waiter was great and used a little humor when giving us information.
Top movies like the Avengers in 3d and the Disney themed shows every night. Adult clubs on ship if desired. The children and teens had venues of their own. Multiple activities and Disney characters appearing in places throughout the ship.
