Review summary

Beautiful Alaskan cruise. I would sail again with Princess but from another port.

Embarkation

2 out of 5
Being left in a cold line outside for over half an hour just to drop off luggage was not pleasant.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

4 out of 5
Buffet was very crowded. Specialty dining was booked full. In May outside venues are not used so inside is crowded

Onboard Activities

4 out of 5
Outside pool and other venues were too cold in May to use.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
Shows were excellent

Children's Programs

Seniors, no children

Service and Staff

4 out of 5
Our Room A139 steward was excellent, and other wait staff were friendly and helpful.

Ship Quality

4 out of 5
Ship was clean but buffet layout was too narrow and crowded.

Cabin / Stateroom

4 out of 5
Clean and comfortable

Ship tip

Not to sail from Seattle port. We live in Florida and the boarding process is much better there. Also Discovery Princess did not have staff at the front of buffet asking people to wash their hands. All other ships have asked for hand washing.
