Review summary

We had a great time. Wish the food in the buffet was better, and hot. The entertainment was good.

Embarkation

5 out of 5
Embarkation was a breeze. We had the green lane, so went real fast.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

4 out of 5
The buffet food was lukewarm at best. The dining room food was good. Nice sized portions, and good tasting. We didn't know ahead of time that we should have made reservations just to eat dinner.

Onboard Activities

4 out of 5
Trivia games, listening to music, karaoke. We really enjoyed Mark Villar, Tommy McPhee, and Mockingbird. They were all wonderful singers!

Entertainment

5 out of 5
We only went to two shows. The Adele show was awesome, and the second show the Adele singer did was great, too.

Children's Programs

No children traveling with us

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
All the wait staff, room steward, customer service, bartenders were great. Carlitos in the Crooner's Lounge was our favorite, and our room steward, Leo, was very helpful and friendly. He took good care of us. A piece of luggage was damaged when it was delivered to our cabin. We took it to customer service and they tried to fix it. It was good enough to get us home. The travel insurance will hopefully cover the cost.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
The ship was beautiful and well kept.

Cabin / Stateroom

4 out of 5
The room felt a little smaller than other cruise ships, but had plenty of storage space.

Ports of call

San Pedro (Los Angeles), California Did not visit port

We just got dropped and picked up at the cruise terminal. We didn't do anything there.

Cabo San Lucas, Mexico

3 out of 5
We didn't do an excursion, just walked around the shops by the docks. Cabo seemed more expensive than the other ports.

Mazatlan, Mexico

5 out of 5
We went to the Cathedral and outdoor market. Watched the cliff diver, then went to Stone Island. We had a lot of fun in Mazatlan!

Puerto Vallarta, Mexico

5 out of 5
We went to Aquaventura Water Park. We got to play with a few sea lions, and enjoy the water park. Very fun!

Disembarkation

5 out of 5
Disembarkation went smoothly. Our color was called pretty much on time, and our luggage was very easy to find.
