Review summary

I like princess.. they have great Itineraries...and can have great pricing, service and beautiful staterooms.... Every cruise line is directed to a different energy and demographic.. so to switch it up....I might try another cruise line next time.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

3 out of 5
I have sailed on princess before and remember that the food was way better before than it was this time. The desserts were beautiful but meh and lacked flavor.....we ended up at the buffet most times ...it ended up being better than the food in other places on the ship. Food in the Main dinning rooms was inconsistent.. I did love the beef dishes and the fettuccine alfredo in the dining room.

Onboard Activities

Entertainment

2 out of 5
So so repetitive!... same music , same songs... over and over...and there other bands other than the Beatles that can be played....like country etc. Games and activities need more creativity, variety and were also very repetitive. We went to the comedian he was excellent...get there so early!... they could fill the auditorium with people it gets so full! It's like trying to fight for a parking space.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
The staff you can definitely tell they work very hard....I can't imagine how overwhelming it would be to have numerous and constant people needing something. I thought the service was great!... Our steward was amazing!! She was so attentive! The bartenders at Bellini's made wonderful drinks...they made it like art creating them. The staff were also so wonderful in the main dining rooms.

Ship Quality

4 out of 5
Beautiful ship!... So clean !!!!! but layout can be very confusing at times...you can really only walk down one side of the ship to get to the venues...and some venues you need to up some floors and down again to get to them. They should have more signs on direction of aft and front of ship...easy to get turned around.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Loved the layout of our inside cabin!..we have always had a balcony ...and honestly we truly enjoyed our inside stateroom. The bathroom is quite small. I also remember the beds were way more comfortable last time I was on princess...maybe because it's a newer ship the mattress especially have not been worn in :)

Ship tip

If you love pools, like I do..princessess ships have the best pools...just remember it is a traditional cruise line...with an older demographic...and the activities may feel a bit dated....On the discovery if the movement of the ship bothers you...get mid ship, lower deck. Do not over plan for when you are at your port destinations.
